Ok.
@loltyler1
Everybody ignores the phrase well regulated
It means regulations must be in place to require gun ownership.
Read it again. The people must bear arms.
achievable natty?
A militia is just a group of citizens including any citizen that shows up with their privately owned firearms. It says "Shall not be infringed" too but you can't seem to reading comprehension.
I’ll be placing my freedom firearm on my belt and walking out the door.

Nothing personal, sweetheart
What the fuck do you think a militia is made up of? The Governemnt's soldiers? No numb nuts, it's the common man's army, so therefore, everyone has a right to a gun. "Well regulated militia" can mean a lot of things.

The way you want to read the amendment it doesn't make any sense at all. If you, however, imagine that the amendment begins with an implied "while" the intended meaning becomes much clearer.
>[While] a well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
regulated means in good working order.
there is also a comma in between the two parts of the sentence. meaning the well stock militia is mearly an example of the shall not infringe part.
Why would the constitution have to spell out that our military needsfirearms? What would they use to fight otherwise?
>45
Boomers lose their guns
>well regulated
this means well practiced as in regularly drilling to posses proficiency with the weapons they keep and bear so they can use them when needed.
