At least they pretend to be making a request.

Any aussies lurking right now who can explain why the cop is wording his warning as an optional suggestion rather than a clear-cut threat of incarceration for violating statutes like they do in England?

These cops deal with Lakemba all the time. I am sure they are wording it like that because they don't want the Muslims which are already against them to turn on them further.

Its likely so if this video was to blow up the news wouldn't be showing a cop saying you can't go because its a danger to you because the muslims in this area are hyper religious non integrating shits.

Police DO NOT have right to directly arrest you, they do, however, the power to force you "move on" if they reasonably think your presence is likely cause trouble.
You can file a complaint later on if you think police's "move on" order is nonsense.

Being asked to move on from a public place

In some situations police can direct you to leave a public place if they suspect you are:

disrupting or are likely to disrupt the peace
behaving in a way that may be dangerous to public safety
likely to cause injury or damage to property.

They do not have to do this in writing, they can just tell everyone to move on. They can also ask you for your name and address if they are going to give you a direction to move on.

This is likely to affect people who are homeless or people with mental health issues.

Police cannot direct you to move on if you are demonstrating about a political issue or taking part in employment strike action.

Blue Jays fans get the rope, too.

a women without a trash bag on her head is going to cause a riot in that mosque is what he is trying to say.

With her tits and shoulders exposed too while actively filming a sermon.

>Police DO NOT have right to directly arrest you,
Do you mean for the offense of disturbing the peace, or offenses in general? Can the cops in Ozz arrest somebody for violating the law on thier own recognizance without a warrant issued by a judge at all?

Thanks for the info m8, genuinely curious
