An unmarried man is concerned about the Lord’s affairs—how he can please the Lord. But a married man is concerned about the affairs of this world. (1 Corinthians 7:32-33)

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

Avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband (1 Corinthians 7:2). Go out and replenish the earth.

Deuteronomy 22:28-29

If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her.

That's how I met my wife. I've been happy ever since.

Ecclesiastes 3 Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA)
3 All things have their season, and in their times all things pass under heaven.
2 A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted.
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal. A time to destroy, and a time to build.
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh. A time to mourn, and a time to dance.
5 A time to scatter stones, and a time to gather. A time to embrace, and a time to be far from embraces.
6 A time to get, and a time to lose. A time to keep, and a time to cast away.
7 A time to rend, and a time to sew. A time to keep silence, and a time to speak.
8 A time of love, and a time of hatred. A time of war, and a time of peace.

It's talking about them fornicating, not him raping her you stupid fuck.

1 Corinth 14:13
Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

Rape was a crime of theft of the woman from a man, either father brother or husband
if he fucked her outside of marriage he raped the father, financially
>aww come on youre raping me here!

Psalm 23:4
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

>"Love not ye the world, nor the things in the world; if any one doth love the world, the love of the Father is not in him," 1 John 2:15

I'm partial to this one
>"[...] the end."

Matt. 27:25

My favorite book as a whole is Ecclesiastes. Favorite chapter (in a poetic sense) is Job 10. Favorite passage is Matthew 9:9-13.

I grew up at the end of a lot of "fear of god" type pastors. Now days it's almost borderline new age love and tolerance crap. I find myself more and more drawn to the fire and brimstone stuff now days.

You can interpret it in any way you like, but it clearly says rape. The bible has other references to sex acts, but it doesn't call it rape. The girls who took their father's seed, weren't raping him, for instance.

thanks. just read the verse for yourself by the way. anyone with a brain and some iq understands what it says:

>If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;

>Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.

First of all notice how it says "THEY BE FOUND", they are found out to be fornicating. If he was found out to have raped her he would be executed for rape, not asked to marry her.

Then it says "he has humbled her", not even close to rape.

It doesn't say rape you stupid fuck.

Where did your picture originate from, OP?

Not politics, sage and report it

>thanks
I meant you're an expert on rape, not the bible

Does this mean I shouldn't get married?

“For those that say they are Jews are but the synagogue of Satan”

When you rape someone, you are raping them. That is an act of rape. It's not literally, but ti's the theme. Maybe you need to improve your English comprehension before engaging in conversations.

Good for us it doesn't mention rape whatsoever.

If you do it for the kingdom of heaven, yes.

>Not everyone can accept this word, but only those to whom it has been given. For there are eunuchs who were born that way, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by others—and there are those who choose to live like eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it. (Matthew 19:11-12)

The common man is like a worm in the gut of a corpse, trapped inside a prison of cold flesh, helpless and uncaring, unaware even of the inevitability of its own doom.

Unironically this
>Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, as God has given some of them an advantage over others, and because they spend out of their wealth. The good women are obedient, guarding what God would have them guard. As for those from whom you fear disloyalty, admonish them, and abandon them in their beds, then strike them. But if they obey you, seek no way against them. God is Sublime, Great.
Also Rom 5 in the NT.

Precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of his faithful ones.
>Psalm 115:16

>Everything I don't understand is SATAN
>Race isn't real
>Fundamentalism or death!
>Erf is flat
I'm glad the religious right is dead and buried but the boomers who post here are trying their hardest to bring it back.

Serious question - how do you know If that's Gods plan for you?

I want to be married, but I want to live for God

Ecclesiastes easily stands out as my favourite. Perhaps because it has a more philosophical phrasing?

There's nothing new under the sun.

Ask God for guidance in how to serve him the best way and trust in the process.

I believe that God will offer you many ways. But you have to take at least one, he can neither choose nor walk the path for you.

The one where Jesus says he only came to help the Jews and not waste time on the goyim dogs, and then agrees to help only after a goy woman asks to be a family dog in their merry Jewish family.

Because that gets christcucks all frustrated and super defencive.

Why would you like any part of the big jew book? Its trash.
>not biblical
Yes, it is. All throughout history cunts have been considered property. Rape is basically the same as theft, it's taking and using something another man owns.

I can't read it. Too small.

>Matthew 15:11
What goes into someone's mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.

"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send [or bring] peace, but a sword."

This is seriously the question I'm struggling with right now. Please pray for me to have some wisdom about it. I'll trust in the Lord
