We know? No, we don't actually. Plenty of evidence suggests the only bodies found were those that died/were dying of disease. Germans pull back and abandon the camps as the allied forces advance, leaving behind these diseased corpses/patients, instead of wasting time trying to bury/burn them, like they did with other such diseased corpses before. Allied forces find this, think "we can use this to make them look evil". They purposefully leave the bodies there to smell and rot, and when high ranking officers + US president show up, they get a foul smell/sight and are willing to believe anything they hear about the atrocities of the Nazi's. And thus begins the CIA/Jewish conspiracies that remain prevalent today.
