I've asked this on the Jow Forums board, but I realized that this would be a good place to ask as well.
I plan on joining the military when I turn 18 (I'm 17 now), and I'm clueless about how I should tell my parents. I think my dad is more likely to freak out than my mom. My dad has said that he doesn't want me in the military. I didn't tell him I wanted in, but I used to be a part of the Civil Air Patrol, which is basically the civilian Air Force. He eventually gave in and let me join that. My mom didn't really care after I explained to her that CAP wasnt actually the military.
So, given this, what do you guys think I should do?
