You shouldn't simply avoid something because Jow Forums told you to, you should understand it for yourself. For example, I used to listen to jazz, but then one day it clicked: I understood its niggerdom on an instinctual level, and now I didn't need to make an effort to avoid it. Same thing with porn, at some point it makes you so disgusted that it doesn't even take effort not to indulge in it anymore.
Start listening to classical and European folk, I'll recommend you what I'm listening to right now: Stravinky's Firebird. I'm listening casually now, but usually I prefer to sit down and just listen, to really pay attention. Most popular music just doesn't have enough meat for you to do that.
If you need help getting into classical go to /mu/ and search for /classical/, it's the last thing with any remote value left in that shithole.
And if you want to get into the nitty gritty of it you can start reading about how jews took down classical so their brand of popular music would take over. Today people treat classical as snob shit, but back in the day simple people would listen to it to, up to factory workers, miners and the like. Not only it isn't promoted anymore, but people's ability to appreciate subtleties has been completely destroyed by modern music. For some it will take effort to rewire their brains.
And since I brought up jazz, here goes another example: some of the biggest names, including Parker and Monk, were financed by a Rothschild called Pannonica Koenigswarter. Songs like Nica's Flute are about her, go read up her wiki if you wish to

Jazz is a mongrelized version of the waltz, it just looks better than it actually is because we're used to such horrible shit.
The only jazz artists I listen to every now and then are people like Joe Pass and Bill Evans, but that's because I like their harmonies. For me someone like Parker never had much appeal beyond rhythm, which gets old fast. Sonny Rollins can be better, but still not as good as classical composers
