I was 6 when it happened, I was called to the basement (parent's room) to see the exploding buildings and people flying out and I just said "Whoa cool!" because I was 6 and my mom got so mad she told me to get out of the room.

I'll never forget that day. My dad was an airline pilot flying a trip to the East Coast that day, and for hours we didn't know if he was safe or not. My mom was woken up by a phone call from my aunt, who didn't know any more than she did.
By the time she told my brother and I, she knew that my dad was safe, but neither of us went to school that day. I think it was closed anyway, I don't remember. We didn't see my dad for days afterwards, since commercial air was shut down for so long, but we knew he was safe and sitting in his company hotel room.
It took years and years for me to get past my kneejerk "murrika!" reaction and realize that 99.9% this was a set-up and Cheney/possibly Bush knew beforehand. Now I understand that the interdimensional shape-shifting child-molestors did it with gay frogs.
