Duck Boat

Do you think you would have survived?
Objectively.
At First, I thought I would because I am a strong swimmer, who was born and raised by the ocean and pools my whole life. I have been caught in the rip tide on a choppy, stormy, day before; and didn't panic, so I know I can keep my nerves straight in water. I also, just for fun, spent years in my backyard pool practicing holding my breathe under water, and swimming laps without going to the surface.
However, my friend made me realize something. You would be on the duck boat with a bunch of drowning mid-westerners and blacks, who don't know how to swim well, if at all. They might grab you in pure panic, and try to push themselves up. Also, the pressure of the boat would pull you down until it was fully submerged underwater. What if you're in the middle or front of the bus? That's a lot of people you'd have to get through.
Personally, I think I would have survived. I know it's MUCH easier said than done, but I think I would.

What about you Jow Forums, would you have survived the duck boat?

My pods would have saved the boat.

There's no way I would've ridden that gay boat to begin with

you look better with hair, even those sad tuffs. just saying

if you stay calm you will literally just float

Depends on water temp and your swimming skills. But more on the water temp. You can't out swim hypothermia.
t. commercial diver

In a case like that, a strong swimmer should go deep and get away from the stupid drowners before surfacing. Yell slogans of support from shore to not be a complete dick, but record it for keks.

The problem is that you would first have to swim out of a bus filled with panicking people

Yes because I would have been wearing a life jacket

Avoid that part by never getting in such a contrivance with random public.

Never change Jow Forums

Life vests weren't required?

hair loss is awful

OP here, I thought the same thing.
Apparently, the captain said "not to worry about life jackets''.

It's also pretty damning because people were taking video of the weather before the boat took off, and it looked horrid. Dark clouds, and strong wind upwards of 60 mph.
Those passengers should have never gone on that boat, much less without life jackets. It's a shame because the whole ordeal just seemed so preventable

>Willingly sharing space with blacks.
>expecting to survive.
>relaxing in any way
I would be fine because I wouldn't be on the Gliding Grape I would be at the Watermelon Wharf.

If you're a decent swimmer you'd survive. If you're unfit, overweight, a weak swimmer and/or black, then you're chances are limited. It all depends on if you can get out of the boat before it goes down. If I were on that thing I would have positioned myself so that I could immediately jump out the moment it started going down.

Yes
I am white and I can swim
End of story

It's summer in fuckin Dixie, shit wasn't cold

Probably not
I admit at first I was all:
>kek! Niggers can’t swim!
But it sounds like the conditions were really bad and it’s actually a really sad story
Ghetto niggers wouldn’t step foot on a boat, or go on a family outing, so they were likely just good black folks

i think so. i fairly good in water. grew up on a lake, go diving for lobster occasionally.

i don't know how true it is, but i've heard if someone panics and grabs you, dive under and they will instinctively let go.

>you look better with hair, even those sad tuffs. just saying

Thanks. I have to agree.

>hair loss is awful
I buzzed it off. It grows about 1/2" a month, I did this last summer, it's nice in the hot weather.

I wouldn't have even been in Branson to begin with. But even if I would have been there, and someone dragged me along to the damn boat ride, I would have left the second I saw that pack of negros boarding because there is no way I'd pay to ride around on the SS DINDU.

One woman lost her husband and all of her kids. I don't care who you are, that's some heart breaking shit

Why didn't anyone try to get out of the boat?

I’m a professional commercial mariner, trainer in ocean survival, safety at sea and prudent seamanship. I would have survived because I refuse to get on duck boats, they’re unsafe death traps. Every incident with them ends in fatalities, on the water or road.

They're going to be fishing white people out for weeks.
Double check for bones just in case

American summed up in a few sentences
>Be good swimmer, train all your life
>Get drowned so a couple of Africans don't
>Africans drown 10 mins later

I'm sorry, but I'm so stealing your idea. :^)

at least dolphin free i hope.

People die in Table Rock. It happens. It's unusual for this many at one time, and it's definitely a tragedy.

But then again the lake has been shit the last 10 years because of tourists. Don't come to Missouri. It's horrible and dangerous here. Fuck off, we're full. Make sure to run some nigs over in Stl/Kcmo on your way through, though.
