And it costs so much because the government is artificially keeping the price high to keep it from competing with breastfeeding. And breast milk isn't as balanced as formula, the mother has to tailor her diet for the child and even then the early milk is not nutrient rich and leaves the child hungry and screaming and also it's impossible to monitor your child's intake of milk.

I can't see any correlation between Chinese milk and the brand I buy, adding to that her development has been perfect and she's an extremely happy child with no current health issues.
