>Known as both the “father of Texas” and the namesake of the state’s capital, Stephen F. Austin carved out the early outlines of Texas among his many accomplishments.
>He also opposed an attempt by Mexico to ban slavery in the province of Tejas and said if slaves were freed, they would turn into “vagabonds, a nuisance and a menace.”

>Austin 2008: liberal and libertarian haven in the Red state, filled with musicians, artists, and actual cultivation of the small but more lower left side of Texas. Amazing food, concerts, festivals, and bars without being too left. The blueberry in the Cherry pie
>Austin 2018: Population 40% overtaken by Commiefornian expats and fallen into being a pseudo colony for San Francisco. Minor crime is now legal, the university has students open carrying dildos and labeling masculinity a disease. Trying every possible way to be a sanctuary city even after the state banned them. Doubled housing market prices and upped taxes over 12%
The fall of california won't be fun. It will just be a spread of their liberal coast elite infection to every major metropolitan area.
WTF fuck these cocksuckers. Can't leave shit alone. This city is already a den of race-mixers and faggots. What are they gonna call it, Niggerfaggotville
Daniel Clark
More than likely they'll dig up some "famous" slave or mexican nobody ever heard of and name it after her. A blow to the white patriarchy.
Daniel Brown

>and said if slaves were freed, they would turn into “vagabonds, a nuisance and a menace.” Well, we know from hindsight that this is true. So what's wrong with it?

If they keep up this pace eventually if you have a last name like Austin, Lee, Davis, etc they're going to force you to have your name changed too.
Jayden Fisher
The south was on the wrong side of history.
You need to have causes that will still be considered good ideas 200 years from now. That’s what happens when you make history
probably Cesar Chavezville. they like to take major roads that have had another name forever and rename them to that. why not whole cities?
Dominic Rogers
what slavery? Obviously it wasn't a bad idea, lasted for thousands of years and is actually still in practice. Probably will be 200 years from now.
Arguably the only error was in the industrial structure it developed over time. Keep the racial component out, allow mobility into and out of it, and don't import millions of people into a country where they don't belong. Do that and I doubt slavery would have ever been outlawed.
Levi Martin
My orginal thought was Chavezton, so I bet you're right.

Nobody cares except cunty leftists, their enablers and the minority goons they organize to feign consensus.

Used to live in Texas. Liked it alot, but I noticed that it's a state that's changing for the worse and losing its identity. .

>if slaves were freed, they would turn into “vagabonds, a nuisance and a menace.” He turned out to be right. What a surprise
Carter Lewis
Pretty funny because Chavez was anti-illegal immigrant pointing out (rightly) it'd just be used by employers to undermine actual workers and had his group work as what amounted to a vigilante Border Patrol.
Of course libshits never mention that part about him.

GAS ALL LEFTISTS NOW. AUSTIN MUST BE CLEANSED VIA RWDS. SUMMARILY SENTENCE EVERY CALIFORNIAN INVADER IN THIS GREAT STATE TO DEATH. GAS THE FUCKING LOT OF THEM. THEY DESERVE NO MERCY.
Only shithole countries have slaves. The world economy is constantly becoming less manual labor oriented every year. Any loser country can just exploit their natural resources, what sets countries apart is invention and a population that is smart enough to make good use of those inventions. Work smarter not harder. Arbitrarily enforcing slavery castes only hinders economic growth.
The fact you can’t figure out that slavery is bad from just being a decent human with empathy is your own moral deficit. It’s the wrong side of history.
Eli Gray
Literally was going to write this.

Libtards won't get away with it. They just can't win! KEK. Hail victory!
Is this what they're going to be doing every single summer? Last year it was the mid-Atlantic, now it's Texas? Can't let their overreaching go unpunished... use it to wake up normie whites.
Owen Flores
>use it to wake up normie whites.
I don't think normie whites are asleep they have just given up and chosen to ignore the problem.
Kayden Hughes
As bad as Charlottesville looked on the surface, the polling that came out afterwards:
>Whites strongly differed, with two-thirds (67%) saying they should remain in place and just 19% favoring removal. >39% of respondents strongly or somewhat agreed with the statement that “white people are currently under attack in this country
right after that media disaster? pro-white opinions are slowly being normalized within white circles. and if you can get 25% support for white nationalism then watch the fuck out
They fought to import and keep black slaves, the slaves actually wanted to leave
Adrian Stewart
I was considering moving back to Austin from Nocal because at least it's in a red state and I won't have to neuter my guns but holy fuck not anymore. Why are no tech-heavy areas in anywhere more conservative?
Dylan Kelly
Confederacy is just a form of government. It has nothing to with slavery. Athens was a Democracy and it had slavery allowing the participants to spend their time remaining informed about all things.

they should rename the city as Coon Town
Christopher Fisher
you lost the argument by regurgitating soundbites you heard and ignoring my original premise which was one of the foundations of slave societies throughout history and part of their robustness. I said you need mobility into and out of slavery and no racial component. This is a core idea which is found in Europe, Asia, South America, just about anywhere slavery originally popped up.
The interesting thing is that your inventions are only trying to mimic what slavery gives you. Machines to do the menial labor of slaves, computers to do the calculations literate slaves used to do, computers to do the word processing that literate slaves used to do. Always while trying to find a way to have slaves without the overhead of clothing, feeding, and other needs.
Then, of course, is the other method of making use of slave labor without the cost: illegal immigrants and competition for low-wage jobs.
Justin Rodriguez
Call it Wiemar, Texas. It has a nice ring to it, and in the Wiemar, the Bolsheviks were hell-bent on destroying German culture much like they are doing to every Western nation today.
Brody Russell
Niggers never bother about going to work, in Coon Town. They seem to think that work is for jerks, outta Coon Town. They don't do nothing but sleep and doze, he don't wake until his eyes are tired of being closed. It's half a day's work for him to scratch his toes, in Coon Town.
Josiah Morales
I recommend you all read this book
Thomas Jefferson talks about how blacks smell funny and that they will become a permanent underclass if not cared for by whites.
Also that they make brave warriors because they don’t understand the danger they are in and the permanence of death

>Why are no tech-heavy areas in anywhere more conservative? have you checked out Montana? (Bozeman, Missoula, etc) I've seen a couple of tech jobs advertised in those places. also isn't Idaho supposed to be a quasi-ethnostate?
other than that ... I think tech is fundamentally allergic to conservatism. it's a tool of corporations which as we know are contrary to national borders and the good things that come with them. and it tends to attract a lot of bluepilled spergs who just want social acceptance and to play with their marvel action figures.

I'm in the video game industry. I pretty much have Austin, Seattle, CA (LA and SF) or... Canada if I want to have a decent selection since the job market is so volatile. I've been at my current job for 5 years so I would hope that whatever company I go to next would hold on to me since I've proven valuable, but you never know since a lot of jobs are project duration. Maybe there are one or two decent studios in Montana, I havnt heard of any.
my roastie ex-gf just moved there from South Florida. I tried to stop it

I quite liked Austin in 2008. Though even back then too many people I met were CA transplants.
James Wilson
If Texas renames it’s capital over some far left transplants from failed states, it will be time to start packing up and getting out of the country. They will sabotage our oil/gas in the near future with muh environment regulations anyways.
Hudson Morgan
People said the same thing in 2008 about 1998, and in 1998 about 1988, just leave if you don't like it. Housing prices are a result of the market as well you retard.
This type of idiocy is just what people need to show how ridiculous the renaming craze is.

Are you guys still bielive you win cold war? Every year harder to say isnt?
How fucking naive. The modern mass age engages in more enslavement of people, body and mind, and on a greater scale, than has ever happened before in history.
A political system that brings in people to keep wages low, while bringing in capital that makes property unaffordable--this is a recipe for the perpetual enslavement of 95% of the population.
You think the kids who are brainwashed into getting into unpayable amounts of debt, then churned out into a low-wage service-sector (demeaning) job, and into cities where they will never be able to own property--you think this is freedom? You are deluded if so.
Carson Bell

And i really hope this happens, and more. It will wake up white people the world over regarding the desire for a kind of sadistic vengeance amongst large swaths of these minorities. It will give European countries enough time to wake up to reality, even force them to do so.
It's funny that Americans seems to think Europe is in even close as bad a position as they are; America is beyond fucked, and as bad as places like UK/France/Germany are, they haven't started tearing down their historical monuments and renaming everything after fraud degenerate negroes like MLK (who has a literal holiday in his name)
No, they want to destroy everything that your country has been historically, because it isn't their history, and they hate whites for being successful and exposing their inadequacy.
It is just the typical ressentiment of inferior people.

They'll be out to ban your flag. Guess whose national flag that the First Confederate national flag was based on? Not only that, because of its similarity to the Stars and Stripes; the flag known as the Conferate flag was devised.

America should be renamed because Amerigo Vespucci was a slave holder. It’s tragic that our nation is named for slavery. I suggest that we be named father the new father of or country, Barack Obama. We can call it Obamanation!
