I heard it's the most regressive and liberal state that's out there. Besides the high costs of living there is it a good state?

When I went there there were so many Asians it was crazy. I remember telling myself it was Little Japan even back when I was 14.
I'm assuming not many whites went to settle in Hawaii.

The Big Island is the only one remotely close to being tolerable, thanks to a number of white ranchers, but the place is probably being bought up by China and flooded with Filipinos, so who can say. The state is also a boomer hotspot, stay away.

Love it. Expensive so it keeps the niggers out. Nice weather / beautiful beaches / landscape and everyone I met went hunting for boars. Would recommend Kauai. Very few tourists and the most "rural" part of Hawaii.
