additionally, because of the way taxing is done, it means service jobs that base themselves on tips are possible to live by, when the tip is not taxed we're more inclined to tip more and just be taxed off the price of the actual meal, and make sure the waitress/server get a good pay for a good job, incentivizing them to spend that increased profit from work back into the local system

This can't go on. Politicians are supposed to represent their own people, if they dont then they can just pretend to represent some other group externally, like they do / or did. But if they do this then you end up with no representation at all anywhere in the world. That goes against the concept f politicians, but it is more in tune with what the donors want to sway public attention away from monopolizing and globalizing trade.

Besides, globalized committees never get anything done. I know that after following environmental politics for a while. Seen them fuck up everything for 20 years now while being funded through the roof.

Most of our taxes is used to support international commitment, which we have no oversight over, no transparency. So it turned out a lot of it was stolen by friends of politicians and the corporations who pretend to be non-for profit, which is a hoax, the legal requirements for the definitions have changed globally.

My point is that the services we once had, free healtcare, education, etc, its all becoming shit. Everyone has education but there are no jobs, healthcare lines are huge and the quality declines as more and more people move here.

It's all falling apart because what kept this system going was that everyone had work, they no longer do, soon people won't be able to afford paying taxes.

I've been talking to quite a few norwegians as of late, and the consensus from ALL of them regardless of where they fell on the political spectrum was as follows:

The "socialized healthcare" has become bad, by there being no incentive to actually do a good job by the doctors, and they'll happily charge you for an entire hour of examination when they can't find a physical sign of something being wrong, and when they discover it's internal, you're more or less back in a capitalist healthcare system as so many of the surgeries etc there are out-of-pocket paid

The country doesn't have "socialized" dental after 18 (aka when you actually need it), it's 100% capitalistic then, so even basic jobs in the U.S have more socialized dental because the workplace pays for it

Education there is turning into a wasteful system that fails to properly educate the students, and you have to over-educate yourself for jobs that shouldn't require anything more than basic trade-school educations but employers will pick those with master's degrees and engineering paperwork over someone that just finished their trade-school for that specific profession. I hear you also have a problem of workplaces will pay those that have paperwork from completed apprenticeship or higher education more than others for doing the exact same job to the exact same quality-level

Your automotive costs are through the roof (still, and it's been for 20+ years), if you import one of the cars from here, you're paying over 10x the cost of the vehicle when it was new, just to get it to a place where it's legal to drive it on the roads there (even though you folks have much higher requirements to get a driver's license, which we would benefit from implementing over here, rather than the defective "learn on your own" and renew every 2 years system we have here)

Your taxes start so fucking high that over 45% at a bare minimum level go to taxes from what you earn, & starting a business is over-regulated
