“The main thing that I learned about conspiracy theory, is that conspiracy theorists believe in a conspiracy because that is more comforting. The truth of the world is that it is actually chaotic. The truth is that it is not The Iluminati, or The Jewish Banking Conspiracy, or the Gray Alien Theory.
The truth is far more frightening - Nobody is in control.
I've got a few friends who rely on this escape hatch, the appeal to chaos.
An appeal to chaos, in my opinion, is the actual comforting conspiracy theory. It is documented and well understood by the educated that the world and its history is a series of conspiracies. Only the truly mentally inadequate would rely on the appeal to chaos argument.
Aside from his comforting chaos escapism, he's a good writer.
Xavier Rodriguez
Yes, there is a conspiracy, in fact there are a great number of conspiracies that are all tripping each other up. And all of those conspiracies are run by paranoid fantasists and ham-fisted clowns. A. Moore
Zachary Torres
Ok, enjoy your mental smugness knowing you're right. Hope you can use that higher intelligence to do something useful someday
Brody Mitchell
The truth is that there is a certain demographic that discovered millennia ago that there is profit in chaos.
Anthony Cook
Yeah man, (((chaos)))
Bentley Diaz
Could not be more wrong. Enjoy your own comforting 'truth'.
Even the very idea 'an appeal to chaos' lives as an idea. It is more disassemble the chaos
Connor Martinez
I guess the hard part for you guys is that once you learn that someone was bad and got away with it, you assume that everything that bothers you is a hoax, and that nothing is real.
I can follow that "logic", sad as it is. And I don't claim to be all-knowing, and I admit that I will someday learn that what I believed was actually wrong. But in general, things like Sandy Hook are easy but painful to believe the official line, but you have to be a complete moron to think the entire town is in on a conspiracy just to take your guns.
Luis Nguyen
I was far more comfortable believing the official version of events in pretty much every case.
David Adams
But that is more comforting to me knowing nobody is in control. I look at conspiracy theories for the same reason people watch scary movies. It's entertaining in an uncomfortable way.
Joshua Young
If what OP says is true, then we could easily band together in secret (Conspiracy) and take over the rudderless world.
Adam Collins
No, people look for a theory that connects events and weaves them into a logical narrative. Some of these are labeled as conspiracy theories, but a narrative is just a narrative
Chase Allen
Obviously nobody controls LITERALLY EVERYTHING. A conspiracy can only occur inside a secular time and space. It's all scope of perspective.
Jaxson Clark
The world is chaotic, but if you seriously think that there aren't powerful parties, individuals, groups, dynasties, corporations etc that are all vying for, competing for, even cooperating in order to achieve total control you are naïve beyond belief.
I worked with psychiatric patients and one of the factors was, most considered their beliefs concrete. In this way relation to ideology is tenuous to say the least.
Nathaniel James
Look up the paid off mortgages on the CT website and then get back to me. Do you have any explaination for the whole town getting their mortgages paid on the same fucking day?
Blake Baker
Why would you start with the assumption that anything you see on MSM is based in reality?
Chase Diaz
Those are proven in court conspiracies. OPs claim is that conspiracies don't exist, nice strawman.
Carson Parker
Enjoy your precarious delusions
Juan Torres
>knowing that there are actual sinister enemies to the human race, and therefore knowing that every second not spend fighting them in any way is comforting whereas just being a nihilistic shit and blaming everything bad on human nature, and therefore ridding you of the responsibility to strive for better, is not wew
Mason Barnes
>Look up the paid off mortgages on the CT website and then get back to me. Do you have any explaination for the whole town getting their mortgages paid on the same fucking day?
do you have a non-tinfoil source for this ridiculous claim? did they bribe the whole town? was there not one honest person in the bunch?
Noah Sanders
Yeah it is, conspiretainment for sure
Julian Russell
THE EARTH IS FLAT! KILL ALL NIGGER BABIES! Q PREDICTED THIS! ALLAH AKBAR!
Nathan Bennett
>OPs claim is that conspiracies don't exist, nice strawman.
do they not teach reading comprehension in canada? where the fuck did OP say or imply that?
Oliver Bennett
>The truth is far more frightening - Nobody is in control. That's fucking bullshit. The world is like a strategy game with a few rival groups. And they are indeed in control.
Right now we have Russia and The Guys(the cool jews), China, and SuperKikes who control US and EU.
>all of those conspiracies are run by paranoid fantasists and ham-fisted clowns. >fantasists You're the one here fantasizing, pretending things are something they aren't. Lurk moar before spouting your BS conspiracy theories about the Jewish elite not actually controlling and ruining everything.
sigh. are you for real? OP is saying that "the joos" or the illuminati or whoever is not in control, guiding major events for whatever reason. He in no way said or implied that there has never been a conspiracy.
Sebastian Hernandez
>The truth is far more frightening - Nobody is in control. Wrong !
What is this guys idea of what a conspiracy is? It seems like he thinks the only conspiracies are the global domination kind. He's not wrong when he says overall everything is rudderless but his argument is only one step away from arguing semantics. There's a big frustrating hole in his argument
Christopher Barnes
Ok then, my mistake. But I'd classify what GM did, manipulation of government/city officials, newspapers, media, and public opinion to destroy light rail to sell buses and cars well into the 21st century with knowledge of the damage the pollution would cause as a major conspiracy. It's not "The Greys" guiding humanity, but rather GM for profit. Think of how many fucking cars and buses America has been through since that happened and how big car culture is and was, it's major. You can classify it as one little conspiracy all you want though, I don't.
Jaxson Phillips
>you can't handle how woke i am >posts pic of degenerate communist and self proclaimed "wizard"
Don't mistake ideology with conspiracy, this relates more to how people conform to thinking and acting
Hudson Reyes
That's what I tell people anyways to not sound like a total freak.
Hudson Morris
The term "conspiracy theory" has connotations of irrationality, paranoia, and schizophrenia. You're basically just saying, "hurr durr, anyone who notices the fact that the Jews are way way too influential is an irrational paranoid schizophrenic".
You're the terrified one here. If you weren't terrified, you'd look at the Jew stuff with an open mind.
>if some are true, they all must be true!!! And actually, the ones that have been confirmed true are all rather mundane. Like the Gulf of Tonkin incident. No reptillians or illuminaiti there.
Christian Lee
Yes user every Western nation being replaced demographically at the same time while also being lead by a similar economical elite its just a pure (((coincidence))).
>that 30 year old American boomer that read fantasy history and took it as fact, now post about it on the internet to seem knowledgeable.
Dylan Brown
Moore is full of shit here, and I suspect he knows it, because he is an occultist and they tend to obfuscate. This is the person who wrote Watchmen, who wrote the character Ozymandias.
Christopher Clark
That means nothing, most Jews don't believe in God and it's people have varied and broad beliefs. Your pulling the bananas are fruit, and yellow, Oranges are fruit therefore they must be yellow stuff. Same thing the power of the 'Big Other' is powerful yet false. Supernatural illusions at the core of mental illness.
Angel Morgan
kind of yea
>fucking boomer ct's, my first clue that you are deluded is that you on't subscribe to atheism, as I do!!11
Brody Parker
I'm not going to look at that
Asher Ross
You guys literately can't handle the truth. The quote is saying everyone is under mind control to the point to where they can't process the truth. Humanity is being lead by unnatural forces. (not alien or interdimensional forces, but specifically occultists who take the "left hand path") Sounds crazy? It's the truth.
Elijah Bailey
It is not a coincidence that conspiracy theories fall prosperous among people who experience a phase of low perspective, or even a whole population that is underway of a economic depression.
I already read a PhD thesis on this idea, but I can't find the damn thing.
You're a good example. People can't handle the truth. Here's one. The the process and principles used to create and manage the 3 major religions on earth are being withheld by occultists who are apart and control the elites.
Well, maybe they do exist, but people believe in them when they are depressed or with low self-steem. It is a well known fact that depressive people have a sharper picture of the world. The OP's thesis is right, people believe or not in conspiracies according to their mood and capacity do cope with a world out of their control. That doesn't mean that conspiracies doesn't, or does, exist. Those are two separated issues.
Q predicted this I know the truth I have seen the truth Behind the veil of perception I have seen And I have come to the conclusion OP is a faggot
Logan Butler
Q predicted this.
Evan Mitchell
Fuck off Alan. You got into a Threesome Relationship, and then your wife took your daughter, became a Lesbian and run off with your other wife. How come your Sanke God didn't help you Alan? Huh? HUH?! Go wank it with Morrison.
>Occam's razor is the problem-solving principle that the simplest solution tends to be the right one. When presented with competing hypotheses to solve a problem, one should select the solution with the fewest assumptions.
What is the simplest solution? That's right, the (elite) Jews. (especially of the libshit/cultural Marxist variety)
Yeah sure, and they all communicate telepathically
Liam Cruz
No, actually the use the phone or email. And sometimes Hillary Clinton's email get hacked communicating with a Rothschild. I think it was Lynn-Foster. And sometimes Jacob Rothschild, Dick Cheney, Rupert Murdoch and the ex-head of the CIA sit on the same economic advisor board as in the case of genie energy on, coincidence, the Golan Hights. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genie_Energy
Rich and powerful (((people))) sitting together and making a plan? DOESN'T HAPPEN! You're a cook! A conspiracy buff!
Connor Robinson
a laughably tiny number
Jayden Roberts
>you assume that everything that bothers you is a hoax, and that nothing is real. especially when there is a fuck load of financial evidence
Luke Mitchell
>White people destroying their countries with fascism and blaming Jews? >DOESN'T HAPPEN! You're a (((they)))!
Zachary Cox
I think you're assuming I mean all Jews, or that there's some secret club called the "Sekrit Joo Club" or something like that.
When people say, "the Jews", they're referring to a small subset of globalist cultral Marxist Jews, people such as leftist journalists or George Soros, who communicate by email and phone.
>a small subset of globalist cultral Marxist Jews, I meant to say "a small subset of Jews", later labelling this subset as being globalist and cultural Marxist.
Jayden White
>globalist cultral Marxist Jews
Or as I like to call them, nonexistent fairytale Jews
Robert James
>do you have a non-tinfoil source for this ridiculous claim? the county registrar has that info and if that is true it's fucking wonky
that whole town is full of TV executives
people with a financial stake in seeing a story like sandy hook break

Predictable straw-man. 2/10 Unimpressed.
Leo Parker
Stop destroying Germany, AfD monkey.
Samuel Thomas
Stop straw-manning first, (((leftypol)))
Ethan Wright
>not understanding what "globalist" or "cultural Marxist" mean

Your brilliant (((they))) tactic won't work on me. Nationalism is treason.
