>Labor shortage
>Companies have to offer higher wages in order to attract people into the labor market
>Wages go up
FUCK TRUMP AND FUCK WHITE PEOPLE

>labor shortage
there's no labor shortage, anyone who can't fill a position needs to up the compensation to the market rate. The free market goes both ways.

This.

this is hilarious, they'll say anything to open the borders back up for their $2/hr pajeets and sanchez's

The hilarious thing is that you can import all the retarded migrants you like.

It won't help. Because the jobs unfilled are becoming more skill-required than it's worth to invest in your local Nigerian new-native, so the economy suffers for lack of jobs to support useless new population imported to fail to fill them.

Apologize for what? This is a good thing as it forces employers to raise salaries on their own.

Nothing is stopping them from paying more

Reminds me of a Trump rally I went to where Trump said that the economy is doing so well there aren't enough jobs so we need more immigrants, the entire room went silent and I think Trump actually got scared for a second.

I GUESS WE SHOULD IMPORT MORE IMMIGRANTS RIGHT?

That way we can keep wages low and companies can still make shitzillion in profit! Competition for jobs is good for the market right!??

When you compete, companies win!

Entry level position
>bachelors degree required
>5-6 years experince required
>starting pay $9.75/hr

Bussiness owners can seriously get fucked.

t. Accountant with masters degree and 50k in student debt.

Everything i learned in school could have been learned on the job.

>pay more than you have to goy
That's why you never shop sales, right?

It's almost like American citizens know what their work is worth and will refuse to work for meager wages! Better import those spics so you can pay them under minimum wage!

Congratulations you got jewed

>he did a degree in what a pirated copy of quickbooks or a trial version of turbotax does for free

just kidding man. do you have your CPA yet?

Q predicted this.

>It's the market's fault for offering me a wage I (and evidently lots of other people) am willing to work for
Companies don't pay more than they need to. The reason why some wages are higher than others is because some jobs are in higher demand than others, and the requisite skills are less common than for other jobs. If you want a job where the applicant pool is substantially larger than the number of vacancies, expect a low wage.

Not really. Im earning 95k/year. More than I would be doing anything else. The monthly payment is manageable. Its just a stupid game that the Jews play.

>hey man we started this small business
>i know you have a university degree and like 5 years of relevant experience, but would you mind working for $15/hour bro
>we're a new business and can't afford to pay you more
>because i started this business and think i should have the lion's share of the profit
>because i fundamentally don't understand how to get a business off the ground

The problem isn't just stupid millenials, because a lot of them have come around to the fact that a.) they're not entitled to $100,000 year at age 21

AND

b.) they're entitled to more than minimum fuckin wage if they've earned a degree and busted their ass working to pay for it

Frankly I don't understand why people in America wouldn't just join the military if they can't find work. It's easy as fuck and you're guaranteed special treatment/discounts when you get out after a few years. Gov't will even pay for your school.

Just enlist for one of those POG positions like a cook or a supply management guy.

>Everything i learned in school could have been learned on the job.
welcome to the club! except I have 100k in debt that I can't consolidate because my credit score isn't in the 700s

KEK my college internship pays more than your job does! Accounting fags BTFO!!!! I can't wait to program software that makes your IRS-loving asses obsolete.

it's not a labor shortage if you're just unwilling to pay

But eventually you get stagnation, and people start getting really hungry. And then they realize the inevitable fact that they can either "refuse" to work for minimum wage - and starve to death while being homeless - or take a shit paying job for some fuckin kike who doesn't value them at all.

You're right that people need to think more carefully about equipping themselves with marketable skills, but a lot of employers need to really smarten up. If you pay bottom barrel wages, you're going to get low performance and bare minimum effort. And the second that person finds something better, they're ditching you.

t. someone who is currently working for a Fortune 500 company that seems to loathe its own employees

I've been approached by two other companies but they're refusing to pay more than what I'm currently making, and the commute is worse. It's like they all got together and had one big jewish meeting about how they were going to fuck over 25-35 year olds.

Not that many people are eligible to join the military and they do less recruiting when there's a recession because too many people want in. Overall it is a very good decision, despite what Jow Forums says about da jooz.

No CPA is another Jewish trick. I do financial accounting (investments, stocks, bonds, etc.) and investor allocations, private equity and hedge funds. CPA is useless unless you're preparing taxes for high networth clients or doing Jewish magic number manipulation for large publicly traded companies. I've known many CPAs who are incompitent and dumber than a box of rocks throughout my career.

> Only want to pay the bare minimum.
> Nobody wants to work for barely any pay.
Gee, what a surprise.
The minimum wage is the lowest you can legally pay somebody, not the wage you should start people at.

Not too shabby, I ended up falling ass backwards into my job and now I make $85K/year with no degree. Jews play those games but it's not too hard to play them back, useful degrees are a good weapon.

Should have got a real STREAM degree

I mean there is nothing stopping employers paying more for workers

Im not complaining. Just saying the Jews and boomers have destroyed universities and job market. Im just saying it shouldnt be as difficult as it is for compitent people to find a carreer that pays a livable wage.

But depending on what you want to do as an accountant, you need all the acronyms and designations. If you freelance/work for yourself, it's maybe less relevant.

But in my company, anyone who wants to move beyond basic book keeping is required to obtain their CPA. Same with anyone in insurance, you need to get your CIP within a few years or you're never moving up anywhere. CIPs are a complete crock of shit and a waste of time and money, but the executive faggots just look at your signature and how many capital letters you stamp behind it.

Attached: hhnnggg6.jpg (768x1024, 169K)

this is why i'm in medicine. boomer management can't decide to just flood the floor with warm bodies. you either have a license or you don't.

oh, and there's no diversity quotas - you're going to get the job no matter what demographic you are as long as you have the license.

>>Companies have to offer higher wages in order to attract people into the labor market
Apparently they don't.
Hence the problems to find workers.

> Be me 20 years old kid
> Get job helping deliver shit for a subcontractor for a freight company
> Git good
> Git real good
> Git job at freight company cus they say I works good
> 6 years later, salaried position, going to school part time paid 100% by my employer for logistics
Working your way up is by far and away the best path.

>Won't SOMEONE think of the business owners!

It’s almost as if raising the minimum wage wasn’t necessary.
Trump’s economy is raising the wage organically.

Can you start killing off some of the boomers with some kind of heart attack drug? Or just over-medicating them so they have strokes/go into comas and die?

Funny enough, my friend is a fire fighter and his station has diversity bullshit. It's like 80% white in the town, yet they cherry-picked and recruited asians, indians, arabs, and a black guy for a 40 man station.

this, i make 400k a year writing cd cd dir

The problem is, if wages rise way above the minimum, and there's a crash which is just inevitable over time, it makes it a much more painful crash.

>And then they realize the inevitable fact that they can either "refuse" to work for minimum wage - and starve to death while being homeless - or take a shit paying job for some fuckin kike who doesn't value them at all.
This is only the case when they're easily replaced. There is such a thing as leverage, and people who don't stand out don't have any.
>If you pay bottom barrel wages, you're going to get low performance and bare minimum effort
There is such a thing as 'efficiency wage', and it's pretty common practice for big companies to estimate this value. An efficient wage isn't necessarily high.
>And the second that person finds something better, they're ditching you.
That's why companies pay more (or offer benefits) when they feel it's important to keep their employees. If they aren't bothering to pay you much, it's probably not because they're dumb, it's more likely that you're disposable, to the point where paying you more and keeping you would be more expensive than training your replacement.

>it makes it a much more painful crash.
this claim is not falsifiable
we have had painful crashes

many of the people complaining about a labor shortage don't even advertise their job offerings, lel. it is just assumed that they will be able to find illegal immigrants to hire.

The majority of people don't stand out, they're mediocre and average. It's really just a case of most employers filing through a giant stack of digital resumes and picking people who seem to meet the minimum standards. Most companies don't really give a fuck, they know universities are diploma mills and they know that anyone with REAL talent is probably not applying to their shitty company anyways - they've already been RECRUITED by some place that pays more.

>That's why companies pay more (or offer benefits) when they feel it's important to keep their employees. If they aren't bothering to pay you much, it's probably not because they're dumb, it's more likely that you're disposable, to the point where paying you more and keeping you would be more expensive than training your replacement.

Exactly what my jewish company does. They have shifted their training in the last few years to limit how many hard skills/transferable skills the equip people with. Not only does it save them money (they are now contracting third party companies to do a lot of stuff, like seasonal boat appraisers - as opposed to keeping them on staff all year), but it limits the mobility of their staff so they're effectively made into indentured servants. I'm lucky enough that I have a degree and a college diploma, real world experience in a few fields, and I'm not a complete retard like most of the 21 year old kids they're hiring.

And I'm only 29. Still hate my life though, company doesn't like me now because my salary is getting too high, they'll find a way to replace me with someone cheaper for sure.

Who would've thought a bank could be so cheap and greedy. Wew.

Attached: gunboi.jpg (1280x720, 94K)

You’re probably right, but it’s okay. The only people that would be affected are the zoomers and moomers that live with their xoomer or boomer parents any way.
Kids should take full advantage while they can.

Back in my day I was making $3.75 an hour at the 32 flavors as an “assistant manager” the summer between my softmore and junior year of high school.

The cold stone creamery payin $14.00 an hour for part time work sounds pretty damn good

>if people have any money at all and aren't wageslaves then there will be a recession

I think we can stop the recession by taking all neoliberals/libertarians/randians and grinding them into fertilizer, then confiscating their property

Exactly. Labor's supposed to be expensive. It's people's lives.

For decades, we in the West have been victims of a treacherous elite abusing their control of the law and its selective enforcement to push labor prices down by immigration, offshoring, feminism, the diversity agenda, central bank policy, and overregulation. Compensation expectations for white men's labor, the productive force that sustains modernity, is driven down by every trick of process and psychology.

The consequence? The division of income between wages and profit has been biased heavily toward profit for the investors and away from wages. Real wages should be triple what they are now. The prosperity growth we knew in the 50s should never have stopped.

As we correct this imbalance, putting the gains of work back in the hands of the productive, clawing it out of the hands of useless, parasitic rentiers, it's inevitable that they'll cry foul the whole way, claiming that the economy is being ruined.

>Get job at comic book shop working for a boomer. Left a management position at a book store for this, since I love comics.
>Dude is an absolute mess; pushes blame onto his employees and cusses them out, hoards up massive amounts of books, think 5 large warehouses of books on books, everything about his business is chaotic, he chases his customers away, etc.
>wtf.
>Try to help him fix his business, explain to him that eBay is not how you sell things anymore and that the 450 pound guy you pay $15 per hour to handle the mail needs to be fired, because a mail man exists and anyone can run packages to a FedEx/UPS.
>Also try explaining to him that he needs to fire two of his other employees because THEY DONT KNOW SHIT ABOUT COMICS and DON'T EVEN READ THEM.
>Literally spends his time jewing the few customers he has left "Book has $50 on it, eBay says it's worth $15, I'll cut ya a deal and sell it to you for 45 since you're such an awesome customer"
>No system to find anything. You have to leave him messages and he'll go to his 5 hoarded up warehouses and attempt to find something; usually gets back to the customer in a year.

Most boomers can't even into business.

>back in my day

Oh you mean when the value of 3.75 was worth 4 times what it is in today's money due to never-ending inflation devaluing money? Actually literally kill yourself, old man.

>muh cheap illegal labor
fuck them

Maximum boomer mode achieved.

My dad constantly tells me about how he partied all summer in college, worked at a Coca Cola factory and made $4.50 an hour, still had enough money to pay for booze and a car and his tuition.

It's almost like the cost of all things has gone up exponentially, but not commensurate with the value of the dollar - leaf or burger.

Attached: GC.jpg (640x480, 84K)

$3.75x4
Pretty much $15.00 an hour you mean?

Pretty good for a high school kid with no overhead who wants a little disposable income.
It’s not meant to raise your familia Paco.

>Nothing is stopping them from paying more
Shareholders and maximizing profit at all costs.

Wow I am shocked. I never would have thought that a 50 year old comic-book aficionado might be socially retarded and generally inept at doing things. Normally they're such well-adjusted folks.

add centrists to the mix

this has to be b8 no one is this retarded

They were privileged with low wages at the cost of civility

It will eventually sort itself out, through peaceful means or very violent means. I'm praying for the latter.

KEK!
My dad is an actual boomer. His first job he made just over a dollar an hour at Woolsworh when he was in high school.
Minimum wage was never meant to be a living wage.
Zoomers have it good

>It's almost like the cost of all things has gone up exponentially, but not commensurate with the value of the dollar - leaf or burger.
Another factor to remember is that you used to be able to support a family just by being able to afford a place for them to live, and basics like food and clothing, but now the main expense is getting away from the diversity. You used to be able to take it for granted that wherever you lived, even in the heart of a city, it would be with decent white people. Now that's an expensive luxury.

You can't raise children in a cheap-rent area. They'd be rubbing shoulders with Somalis. Your daughters will get raped and your sons will get shanked. You need to buy into a costly suburb, and take extra hours out of your day and spend extra money on gasoline for the commute to work.

We need to get rid of the diversity properly. None of this outbidding them bullshit. They need to be gone.

Not to mention they were visited with shit that we will never, ever see again.

>be my dad
>1984
>big recession hits
>no one is buying houses
>dad got a high paying job literally 3 days after graduating COLLEGE (not even university)
>working there for years saving up money
>lose job when recession hits
>GOVERNMENT DECIDES TO GIVE YOU $20,000 - IN 1984 - TO BUY A NEW HOUSE
>turn around and buy new house for $49,000 cash
>sell it 5 years later for $110,000

Literally fucking absurd. You basically need to have dual income to own even a shitbox house in Ontario. I'm looking for a nice white waifu for various reasons, one of which is so I can actually afford more than a dump/nigger-tier condo.

Also waffling over the idea of marrying a rich sugarmomma to take care of me. NEETlife doesn't seem too bad anymore.

He was in his late 60's and was wanting to sell his business since he was old, in massive amounts of debt, and his health was failing plus his family hated him; I bit because my family has the money to buy him outright and not break a sweat. After a month of dealing with his schizophrenia and idiotic behaviors, chief amongst them being his compulsive hoarding and refusing to let me actual manage, I offered to buy him out of his business right then and there. He said he wanted a million dollars for it all; the business, the 5 ginormous warehouses, and his store front. I explained to him that's not how it would work and I would be glad to hire appraisers to comb through everything and get it into one place, and after an appraisal, would gladly pay him same day what they thought it was all worth; but I would only be buying comic related merchandise, not anything else. But he declined and said this was an elaborate ruse to "steal" from him, so I quit right there and told him to have a nice life and hope it all works out for him. Well, two weeks later, he calls me and leaves a VM saying he'd do it since he found out who I was and who my family were. I returned his call and told him that he missed his one chance to become a millionaire and make sure his kids would be taken care of for the rest of their lives, too. Informed him that I was already in the process of starting my own shop and would gladly take his when he goes under.

Maybe they should start hiring men.

Jesus Christ that's an interesting point, scarily true.My parents grew up in London, ON which was white af until about 2010. Now they're just cramming it with Syrians like a human dump, and it's actually devaluing the homes in the city and raising the cost of rural stuff 20 minutes outside it.

Attached: 5214342.jpg (1080x1350, 135K)

You should burn his shit down and frame him for arson. I'm a nice person but I'm finding that more and more lately, if someone pisses me off even slightly I just stop caring if they live or die.

Should I be looking at fedoras or is this just part of becoming a bitter 30 year old boomer?

Attached: 41324122.jpg (1080x1080, 68K)

No, they aren't, wages have barely kept up with inflation.

The thought crossed my mind, but I unfortunately never knew where his warehouses were except for 1 one of them. You literally could have stolen 50/100 comics per shift and you'd never know because their being no inventory count, cameras, alarm system, etc and his massive amounts of hoarding. He owed Diamond, the only comic book distributor in the US, 20k and they were threatening to close his account unless it was paid, for example.

I hate business owners so much

they are always weird passive aggressive dudes

You anons don't understand. The elites are extremely concerned about small businesses. That's why we need open borders. And that is why they are making us aware of how small businesses are suffering.

>want 200IQ adults for full-time jobs
>need college doctorates, degrees
>6-12 years of experience
Honestly, sometimes I wonder how anyone can get a job.

>anyone who can't fill a position needs to up the compensation to the market rate
No, that's only if they can afford it; of course you can't expect them to hire people at a loss. What's really happening is that your economy is shrinking and about to collapse, so this will happen a lot in the near future.

What stopped them before were other people who were willing to work for the lower wage. Now no one is willing to do it. So they will have to raise wages, or run their business with few employees (not efficient in the long term), or allow illegals to flood the country (this is their most desired solution).

? or it means that they can not keep up with demand for their products so they will either raise the price of their product or hire another worker at a higher cost to meet the higher demand.

Oh nooo. All those businesses having to raise wages and benefits to attract candidates. This is awful.

Attached: 1476904482-1476903667321.jpg (653x477, 191K)

>companies all over America want minimum wage workers
No shit. There will ALWAYS be a shortage of minimum wage workers. Anyone can run a profitable business if the employees make minimum

the sad truth is that most "small businesses" range from shit to utter shit
only a tiny fraction of them are good companies that you would want to work for, and those usually aren't hiring
it's almost always better to work at a big company
for instance Amazon starts its fulfillment associates (the guys that slave away in the warehouses) at $11.75 where I live, with a bump in pay for evenings, another bump for weekends
to get hired there is no bullshit, you literally take a web test then show up for a drug test and you're hired a week later
you work there for a month and you get access to their internal job postings, and since they're a massive company there are a lot of places to potentially go if you have any sort of ambition and get skilled/educated
yeah it's not a job to brag about, but compare that to your average small business
I had a friend respond to an opening for a carpenter's helper (unskilled assistant), and the guy was paying only $10.00/hour for what was brutal work, wanted some experience in construction and two previous employer references
not surprising they can't find workers

bump

alternatively, over half of the products are fucking useless and these businesses should just go under.

Report them if they have a job listing like this, its an attempt at abusing H1B.
