How they can slow it down to make you pay more. Every single cellular communications company makes their dosh by providing a service and then upcharging for using it. At first it was calls alone, then calls before 8pm, long distance, texts, emails, web access, now it's unlimited data but at throttled speeds. Once we got 5G they have to come up with a good reason there are tiers at all when more users will not even need a remote fraction of that much juice at once.

That it can support up to 20 Gbit/s, but in the US you'll max out at 490 Mbit/s. This is slower than some 4G that put out 500 Mbit/s.
