I've dealt with homeless a lot and while there are a few that are honest to god down on their luck and going down to the work center to run a back breaking 12 hour shift for 50 bucks most are just schizos or suffering from other serious mental illnesses. Round them up and have them subjected to a psych eval, if they have any dangerous mental illness just put them out of their misery.

getting out of homelessness in America (and more specifically a big city) is fucking EASY. You hear me? EASY. There are hundreds of outreach organizations that offer help and services free of charge.

Many are homeless due to drug addiction and/or mental illness though. Decreasing economic barriers to entry is not a total solution.

There is only ONE partial solution.

We need a homeless person rating agency.

Homeless people would go to this agency and receive a mental health checkup, they'd get drug tested, they'd get liver tested, etc.

Homeless people that are totally normal competent people who have just had a run of bad luck and can be integrated back into society are given an 'A Class' certificate. These get most of the money.

Homeless people with behavioral problems that can be fixed with medication or a sober living facility are given a 'B Class' certificate. They can't be too far gone to receive this certificate.

Street shitting schizophrenics and hardcore drug addicts are given a 'C Grade' license and these people are simply ignored because there's nothing anyone can do for them that others haven't already tried.

But know why it won't happen? Liberals think the street shitting schizophrenic heroin addict is MORE deserving of your money than the sober guy living in his car who just lost his job.

The money should be going to people who can actually fix their shit, not to people who will never fix their shit, but that's not how liberals see it.

I never said it was. But it would eliminate the existence of an "epidemic" and make it just normal crazies who are homeless. A lot of homeless people really are just unlucky fucks who lost a job and then a series of cascading effects rendered them unemployable and homeless. This country is restricting the fuck out of its pool of employers and has inflated the prices of everything due to government intervention. Get rid of the intervention, you get rid of a huge chunk of the homeless problem.

Social workers can be sent to scour the streets to put them on programs and put them places and get them jobs or disability. If too far gone they go to a mental facility.

Yeah I get that. In the past I thought better rehab programs and an opportunity to work and a shelter would be great. If they can't stay clean after X amount of time or if they are repeat offenders - just execute them. A policy of compassion, but ruling with an iron fist.

I have a solution. Round up every single white person in those camps make them under go psychological evaluation. If they are demeaned mentally ill send them to state funded institutes to get them help and some kind of job placement. If they are out of work or havent been working for a long time send them a work counselor or some kind of mental health person to get them ready to work again or to be re-integrated. All of these people will be house on government housing. The mentally fit ones will be given some permanent housing until they choose to move out. If at anytime they are back to being homeless they will allowed back into the program but to more scrutinizing regiment. These programs would be monitored very closely. Also this program is for whites only non-white homeless will be thrown into a meat grinder or shipped to mexico/canada.
