there is something aesthetic about riding in a bike in a worn down city like that you know there was history there and the style of the architecture and and layout seems oddly calming to me. The streets look clean and the weather looks nice, and without many people walking around and the wide open spaces of parks everywhere you don't get the cramped feeling you normally get in cities here.
