I read the article, and it wasn't clear just what the problem was. Basically the EPA won't outright ban asbestos, because it has a use beyond insulation in some chemical processes. But that's not to say that you can use it in insulation. And they're no longer putting a lot of effort into finding old asbestos, as far as I can tell.
But the article makes it sound like they'll be bringing asbestos back and everyone's gonna die.
