The West Hollywood City Council on Monday evening voted unanimously to remove President Donald Trump’s Walk of Fame Star.
The resolution calls on both the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and City ofLos Angeles to remove President Trump’s the star due to his “disturbing treatment of women and other actions.”
Statement from Leron Gubler, President/CEO Hollywood Chamber of Commerce regarding West Hollywood City Council motion: “Once we receive a communication from the City of West Hollywood, it will be referred to our Executive Committee for consideration at their next meeting. As of now, there are no plans to remove any stars from the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The West Hollywood City Council does not have jurisdiction over the Hollywood Walk of Fame.”
