The only thing that's truly going to hurt youtube is a rival platform that can offer the same things to larger creators, things like ads, and sponsors. If a platform comes along that offers that, all while giving it's users the freedom to create whatever kind of content they want (so long as it doesn't break any laws), while using whatever kind of speech they want. You tube would be utterly fucked.
There was a rumor awhile back that said pornhub was thinking about creating a rival, not sure if true, but if it is. They are actually big enough to shiit right into youtubes punchbowl.
