This Alex Jones situation is the most messy I've ever seen an issue.
Businesses have a right to deny service to individuals.
But not (or shouldnt) on the grounds of political views, lifestyle choices, or free speech.
But can if that speech is harassing or violent.
So it all comes down to just how detrimental Alex Jones is to people. Does his speech or its affects cause harm to others? Or is he just exercising his rights regardless of how extreme his views are? Personally I think he's fucking insane and the majority of what he says is wrong. But I wouldn't want my views or free speech to be allowed to be stifled by a private enterprise with such a wide scope of influence just because they disagreed with me. And I haven't looked into the issue enough to determine whether his actions warrant the label "Harmful and dangerous" that I believe is necessary to be denied speech and service. And well, I have no influence or stake on the matter so I don't really need to know. Just fuck Alex Jones, and I hope the system is keeping the balance between free speech and harassment.

It all comes down to the fact that they get government subsidies and SPECIAL permissions, either that should be WITHDRAWN, or they should be FORCED to adhere to the rules that grant them these benefits and special permissions, they must pick one or get LEGALLY BUSTED UP AS ILLEGAL MONOPOLIES

That's a great plan, but inconveniences people. You could do it one person at a time by convincing them it's the right thing to do, but more effective would be to incentivize the switch, and make it more convenient. If someone made a platform that kept tabs on all major corporations, and connected people to free or cheap alternatives that hold up to public standard, then I could see it gaining some traction. People are only likely to switch to more moral options if they are just as convenient and high quality as the corrupt competition, or cheaper.
