They had two court cases in France where 11 year old girls were lured into apartments by older men and had sex with them in Paris. Those men then werent charged with rape because "the girls consentend". This was the actual law in France , and it still is.
The public outrage over this forced Macron to do something, then the french supreme court (completely jewed) told Macron age of consent would be unconstitutional. This ensured that it's business as usual in France, it's still legal to fuck 11 year olds as long as they "consent".
