>I spend a few weeks every year teaching high-school and college students, and in my interactions with young people in and around universities I have noticed a trend. After class, at meals, and in walks around campus, the politically engaged students invariably ask me the same question: What do I think of Ben Shapiro?...
>Nor am I alone. Recently Eliza Gray had a similar experience while reporting on young conservatives in the age of President Trump. “Oddly enough,” she wrote in the Washington Post, “the person who appeared to be doing the most to shape the thinking of the new generation of Republican leaders was not the president of the United States—but Ben Shapiro, a 34-year-old anti-Trump conservative pundit who came up unprompted in more than a third of my conversations.” Again and again, students turn exchanges involving politics and ideology into discussions of Shapiro, his media presence, his ideas, and his mode of discourse.
>As it turns out, I happen to think well of Shapiro, and admire not only his intelligence but also the way he is modeling political debate for an audience of millions. (We’ve corresponded once or twice but have never met.) More important, though, is what Shapiro’s celebrity tells us about the changing nature of media, the emerging sensibility of conservative youth, and indeed the future of American conservatism itself.
>With his extensive knowledge of both high and low culture, Shapiro is more than capable of referring to the pop touchstones of Millennials and Generation Z. He opines on sports, film, and media more broadly, and his busy speaking schedule frequently puts him in collegiate settings where he is exposed to the most pressing topics within the most radical sites in American society. Nor does he shy away from responding to the nostrums of identity politics in these hostile settings. His willingness to debate, indeed his readiness for polemical combat, generates excitement and attracts followers to his cause.
>The rise of Ben Shapiro points to a conservatism that embraces the communications technologies of the Internet age, emphasizes the rights of life and speech and religion and self-defense, is familiar with and comfortable in the crazy blender of American popular culture, and is caustic in its opposition to socialism and bureaucratic control. A critic of Trump throughout the 2016 campaign, Shapiro has nonetheless come to occupy something of a middle position within the universe of conservative opinion: critical of President Trump’s behavior, but also willing to applaud Trump when his policies advance constitutional freedom. Shapiro is someone that both Trump’s right-leaning opponents and right-minded friends respect. Even a few liberals are willing to entertain his ideas — until they are shamed into denouncing him, of course.
>This is no small accomplishment. It’s why Shapiro may be the most important conservative at work today. Not just because he has so many fans, but because he is urging those fans to adopt a political standpoint that is in the grand tradition of the conservative intellectual movement. At a moment when the range of potential opinions has widened to include neo-reaction on one end of the spectrum and full Communism on the other, a grounded, responsible, finely reasoned conservatism is more essential than ever.
National Review Jews shilling for other approved, chosen commentators won't stop what's coming to them. We're on the verge of a major mainstream revolt against Israel and its agents in America. Stories like this are a sad grasp at the rope that's already tied around their neck.
Ben is pretty retarded outside of citing legal precedent. His opinions on foreign policy, economics, domestic policy, et cetera or pretty much regurgitation of the same banal talking points every other retard uses. He's just not remarkable in any way.
Easton Ward
atleast hes: > against gay marriage > against trans >against abortion

I sincerely hope that's not a Jordan Peterson reference, because he's just as bad.
Adam Gomez
He’s a feckless, spineless kike who’s sole purpose is to be controlled opposition. Anyone who follows that brand of “conservatism” is no better than the communist left.
Oliver Cook
He's not you fucking nigger, literally kys. A fucking kike cannot be our guy.
Grayson Allen
It's a serious question, it was written on the motorway bridge on my way home from work and then when I tried to say it was a God synchronicity because I just heard the Peterson this, thing happened
Shapiro pushes for every right wing cause. He may be an uber-kike, but his views align with mine. I don't care if if he's a kike then, in fact if all kikes were right wingers and subverting the leftists to push right, why would I care at all that they're jewish?
Nathaniel Wood
He's a phoney who misinterprets Plato

Surprising nobody at all, if you ask the kids who are moderate enough that their schools allow them to form Republican clubs who they like, they all go to the race-isn't-real-cuckservative-jew.
We should drop the gay issue and get rid of the Jew issue. You christfags are the reason the county is in this mess.
Jason Harris
>(((Shapiro))) >”future” Are you implying that anybody with the name Shapiro even has a future? I don’t see a future for them past the gas chamber. Five years tops

The only /ourkike/ is Bobby Fischer. Close second runner up is Norman Finkelstein.
Shapiro is a stylistically skilled debater and when going up against idiot college kids then, of course, he is going to look smart. However, the 'facts' he uses in his debates are often VERY misleading. I remember once he claims that in order to not be under the poverty line for your whole life (he says the words 'for your whole life much quieter which tells you a lot) all you have to do is finish high school, have a job and don't have kids until your married. Statistically, at first glance, this might seem to be correct. However, the key phrase is 'for your whole life'; if you have a shit job it can take a LONG time to build up enough wealth to get out of poverty. Also, economic limitations, shitty parents and s shit environment affect one's ability to make wise decisions. Blaming the poor for their misfortune doesn't solve anything; Ben is just trying to justify the massive economic inequality and social problems that come with America's current economic system.
Benjamin Lopez
Vox Day released an excellent video on Ben Shapiro the other day, but it's a bit unflattering: youtube.com/watch?v=kHQTF7mGa_8
Also, Shapiro sometimes just says things that are completely false. He claims that healthcare cannot simultaneously be high quality, affordable and cover everyone. This is just patently false. France, Germany, Japan etc... all have some variant of universal health care coverage (with varying degrees of private and public involvement) and they all cost less AND PRODUCE MEASURABLY BETTER HEALTHCARE. It turns out when you don't need your healthcare system to pay for lots of ads or make a massive profit for shareholders you don't have to spend as much but can still produce quality health care if done right.
