The most peaceful nations are the least religious while the most barbaric are the most religious. It is a statistical fact that Atheists have a higher IQ than religious people and have gained higher educational attainment - and before you say 'that's not actual intelligence' - what about our centuries greatest scientists, inventors, and innovators who changed the world? Vast majority are Atheist.

The Law itself is closely related to, but is not identical with, the Jews' chosen status in the Old Testament. The Law is an instruction manual for us to live our lives, but we are unable to actually follow it with our weak human willpower. The best we can do is try our best (which isn't very good), and ask Jesus to forgive us where we fall short (this is the key). As he forgives us, the Holy Spirit will gradually mend our ways, not through our own willpower but through divine grace.

If Europe doesn't find Jesus, that doesn't mean religion will be gone in Europe. It just means Islam will become the European religion.

We don't have the power to control the zeitgeist. All you or I can do as individuals is to ask Jesus to save us, and then try to lead good Christian lives by example.
