The Republican Party

What are your thoughts on the GOP? Seems like many here think the GOP is pretty based.

Fuck them all except for the Freedom Caucus.

they're part of the deep state uniparty

This is partly why I'm asking, because up until 2016 most people on here knew that the two party system was a meme, one of the main things about Trump was that he 'wasn't a republican' for example.
Whereas now you get guys like Styx unironically shilling for the GOP as if they're the ultimate good guys, and not from a 'lesser of the evils' perspective either.

Bunch of cucks because the leadership is too wishy washy to stand for something.

If the GOP loses in November, it's their own fault.

The GOP won't lose in November unless something really massive happens, but

>Bunch of cucks because the leadership is too wishy washy to stand for something.

How so?

Because dems are self-destructing.
GOP could lose if they get into a hold my beer moment.

I don't mind Trump but I don't like the GOP much, they are too similar to democrats. just look at how many have chosen to side with dems against the president. I'm not loyal at all to the GOP and I'd probably stop supporting them completely if a real right wing party started up.

>Whereas now you get guys like Styx unironically shilling for the GOP as if they're the ultimate good guys
>Eceleb bullshit

Jesus Christ kys

At least they are a real party with some internal debate and core beliefs.
The democrats have just gone full socialist cult with no actual ideas coming out.

I would love to see the democrats discuss ways to reduce the cost of healthcare to make it more affordable (both for individuals but also in the event of medicare expanding). But this doesn't happen. It's just autistic screetching about evil whiteys and unlimited gibs for all.

At least the republican party advocates for policies that are connected to reality.

>Mentioning an internet guy is 'e celeb bs'
Do you call it legacy media bullshit if someone mentions a TV personality too?

Run by complete retards that hate their base and have to be dragged kicking and screaming across the finish line.

This. They also always shill for Zionist wars. I am just supporting them for the time to see what Trump can do to hold off the US from becoming minority white.

It's been 96 years since a republican decreased the size of government.
They are fucking traitors.

>core beliefs
What?

> Basic Conservative value: fiscal responsibility and balanced budgets
> Current GOP: Let's blow the deficit out of the water

Give me a fucking break, these guys are killing our nation

>What are your thoughts on the GOP?
Total fucking trash but the Dems are even more trashy.

Pretty pathetic but it's what we've got. I hope Trump goes on the offensive and supports some primarying in 2020.

>Whereas now you get guys like Styx unironically shilling for the GOP as if they're the ultimate good guys, and not from a 'lesser of the evils' perspective either.

What does Styx have to do with us? He doesn't even get posted here anymore

>us

And, I saw some thread about him on here the other day, I used him as an example of someone backing the GOP just because of Trump regardless of anything else while on paper being a 'libertarian' which sums up exactly what I'm talking about ITT.

Establishment R love to take the moral high ground. They either don't understand, or don't want to admit the opposition party doesn't give a fuck about morals, they only care about POWER. As Bongino has said, R's think they're in a boxing match with rules while D are in a street fight.

I hate the GOP. They're a party of limpdicked cucks and wimps. I just hate Dems more.

Friendly reminder that in 2008 the normal stars on the GOP logo went from upright to the current Satanically inclined one.

you mean the old GOP (collection on corrupt shitheads) or the MAGA party (chosen by god to lead humanity into the Light)? two different things.

Pretty much, their only saving grace seems to be they are too cowardly to have actual political stances so they can be easily manipulated by their base. Which is as it should be, but their cowardice also means they are susceptible to globalist propaganda as seen by all the mexican cucking in the past trying to secure themselves the future base Mr. Noseberg promised them.

We all have our meme parties and flags and autism specific ideologies. That's all well and good, but at the end of the day you are either Republican, Democrat, or don't have a say. You either want to make it larger or make it smaller. And to all who say politics isn't a game- it totally is.

Seems like they change it randomly over the years? Why are they doing that?

Back in 2012 there was a lot of discontent with both parties, everyone was getting sick of the same old two party nonsense, then 2016 came along and now the old system is firmly in place again.

Interesting how over the last two years Styx, HA Goodman, and LionelNation, who were somewhat liberal or left leaning have become right and kinda hard right. I attribute it to the DNC in 2016. The Dems behavior since has been nothing short of political suicide.

The GOP is as much an organ of the deep state as the Democratic party is. Before the existence of the deep state was fully revealed, however, the GOP tended to attract some of the more liberty-minded politicians and thinkers along with the legions of swamp creatures. THEORETICALLY, the GOP is committed to ideals like small government and individual liberty, but in practice it's full of people like John McCain who fully support unlimited power for the intelligence community. Even they, however, are forced to support the correct position on a few crucial issues, especially gun rights. The danger lies in the concessions they're willing to make, but they seem to understand that the survival of their political careers depends on not folding.

As it always will be. Unless there is civil war things will never change. But that's why we're properly dieting, exercising regularly, and taking trips to the range from time to time

They ought to take a firm stance against this bizarre, ridiculous Russia nonsense - in Congress, in the media, online. Large parts of it were outright fabricated, apparently. The blatant misuse of the FISA courts and politically-motivated surveillance of the Trump campaign should be a fucking historical scandal but it seems like Trump and occasionally Fox news are the only ones who ever mention it. People should be in jail over that shit, Obama should be disgraced like Nixon was, and 90% of the GOP won't say a fucking word about it. I'm living in fucking crazyland where made up horseshit gets 24/7 news coverage and special prosecutors while blatant criminal subversion of American democracy is totally ignored.
