The day was much like any other day for Michael Brown. He was heading home for a healthy meal and some MCAT prep after a day spent building habitats and feeding the homeless, with a box of Bibles in his arms and dreams of attending medical school.
But His life was taken from the world so senselessly and needlessly on 9 August, 2014. Exactly 4 years ago.

The evidence was clear that Brown violently attacked the officer tried to take the officer's weapon, which requires that the officer use deadly force to stop him.
I noticed that article features the Garner case out of New York. Garner didn't die of a chokehold. He died of a massive heart attack. For anyone who's watched the video of that incident, when the cop releases that hold Garner is still speaking saying that he can't breathe. Yet we're led to believe that he was somehow strangled to death by a cop when it's clearly not with the video shows. How does a dead man speak?

I think the officer who applied the illegal chokehold was reprimanded but otherwise the incident was investigated and found that while unfortunate it was properly handled by everyone else.
