Not sure what that exactly means, because 2 universities have a "Gender studies" program at the momen: Central European University (CEU) and ELTE (also in Budapest).
The article says all those who haven't completed their degrees will be allowed to do so, but there will definitely not be new degree programs.
It also says that the American program of CEU will continue to offer this degree.
It should have been a total and immediate ban. Anyway, if it pisses off the liberals, it's good news.
