His rise to power has been nothing short of a miracle. He took the Northern Alliance party, and successfully coopted it into a populist party, then was able to leapfrog Berlusconi's establishment party in his own coalition, become the largest party, then created a government with another populist party which will get annihilated in the next election after people see the benefits of his work as Interior Minister in removing migrants and lowering crime.
I mean, this was the best scenario to truly get started in reintroducing conservatism to the European continent. Salvini's campaign mirrored that of Trump's all the way down to the campaign merchandise (pic related). Salvini's twitter has more follows than that of the M5S party he'll be competing with in the next election.
I think we should just behead people like the Saudis. There's a gif of one of their executions, one guy in a white robe in a sword and he chopped a guy's head off with such ease. Or we could just burn people at the stake.
What amazed me was how easy it was to stop the migrants. Salvini just said "no", and all of a sudden Italy was pretty much closed off as a smuggling route. It just goes to prove that all previous politicians wanted the migrants to come in.

I was wondering if she is a Trump asset that plays a DNC ally. I haven`t seen this amount of media bait in a long time, since the pee-pee tape even.
BOSTON (AP) — A Boston newspaper is calling for a coordinated editorial response to President Donald Trump's frequent attacks on the news media.
The Boston Globe has appealed to newspapers across the U.S. to publish editorials on Aug. 16 denouncing what it calls a "dirty war against the free press."
The Globe says it's appealing to editorial boards to take a stand regardless of their politics and whether they generally editorialize for or against the president's policies.
Marjorie Pritchard, who oversees the Globe's editorial page, says dozens of newspapers have agreed so far to write their own editorials. She says they include both large metropolitan dailies along with many smaller publications.
Democratic socialists are the gift that keeps on giving. >have one small victory in a Primary >jump the gun and go on a national campaigning spree >damn near everyone you endorse loses >constantly embarrassing yourself on national TV >haven't even won your district seat yet
The way things are going, Crowley is probably going to run a serious third-party campaign. I hope she lasts long enough to tear the party apart over that.

> Kansas Rep. Kevin Yoder rejected a personal plea July 25 from Attorney General Jeff Sessions before Yoder voted to revive former President Barack Obama’s catch-and-release policy for economic migrants, sources tell Breitbart News.
> Sessions’ telephone plea was delivered during the markup session for the 2019 homeland defense budget, where Yoder – who chairs the House homeland-defense appropriations committee — ensured passage of a Democratic amendment to revive Obama’s catch-and-release policies.
> Yoder’s surprise vote and rebuff of Sessions came one day after Yoder flew with President Donald Trump in Air Force One down to a July 24 Kansas rally. Sessions is Trump’s main ally in fighting illegal migration, which is playing a large role in the November midterm elections.
> Sessions called multiple legislators on the committee, but all except one of the 30 GOP legislators approved the completed budget plan, which includes the Yoder giveaway plus several additional cheap-labor giveaways. “The Attorney General personally made multiple phone calls to committee members,” said a second source.
> Yoder’s office declined to comment. “We don’t have any more to add on this topic,” a spokesman said August 9.
> According to the second source, the GOP leadership on the committee did not tell Sessions’ Justice Department or the Department of Homeland Security about the asylum amendment until the day of the vote.
