Just finished watching Star Wars The Last Jedi, /b/ did femenatzis kill Star Wars?

The prequels were bad but me and my brothers have still had fun watching them the other month while hanging out at the house.
We then later watched the last jedi and couldn't get through it and turned it off

you know how women get alimony from divorce settlements? and they take things from the house, and often the entire house, too? they don't want that stuff. that's stuff they have to take care of that they don't want to take care of. the only reason they take it is to hurt the husbands. that's what is happening with star wars. these women feel like they've been hurt, and so they're trying to get other people to hurt and react, as well. that's how women are, in general.

It’s a three-movie franchise to me anyway.

Agreed. Of course, the prequels weren't what they could have been, but they told a coherent story at least. Whatever Vision JJ had for this new Trilogy was shattered to pieces by Rian who apparently ripped up JJ's notes and decided to make his own stand alone film. TLJ seems to have disregard the past, handicaped the future, and left JJ who is directing '9' in a nearly untenable position from a creative standpoint. Oh, and the word is that Disney was pissed that Rian killed off so many characters.

Star Wars has always been normie garbage. They're action movies with extremely basic plotlines and well done, but rather generic characters.

One of the problems I had with the movie among the infinite clusterfuck of a movie. There already was a solution to their problem. In the Battle of Hoth the regal fleet didn’t leave in masse. Each ship had to make three random hyperspace jumps and then meet up at a rendezvous point. This ensured that you couldn’t track each ship and ensure the safety of the fleet.

This exact tactic is older than dirt since it allows the ship to see if they have a tail and prevent them from leading the imperial fleet back to the rendezvous point.

Oh and Leia Superman flying in space. You know the movie is going to be pure bullshit after that.

Regarding the Disney films in general:

I agree completely with your appraisal of the Disney Star Wars films. Except I don't mind that the force awakens rhymed in a big way with a new hope. The first film of the new trilogy can serve as something of a fresh start to establish and reestablish The Saga in the minds of fans.

For me and my daughter, yes it did. She watched the original trilogy with me prior to Force Awakens. Was disappointed in that movie. More me than her I think as I think she still enjoyed the action scenes. Yet she wasn't a fan.

After we watched Last Jedi, walking out of the theater, she told me she didn't want to see the next Star Wars movie. Thus, me a GenX Star Wars fanboy (moderate) didn't even bother going to see Solo alone or with my daughter.

Star Wars is dead to us. Makes me sad. Fucking SJW's.

They are discovering that the limitations of their abilities are rarely quite that of a mans. They have built their identity around themselves being just as capable and they are largely discovering their relative deficiencies. This is a burden we are all forced to bare.
