Unite The Right is stupid. Just by the name, you can tell it's terrible. Why not just call it, "Associate The Entire Right With The Worst Optics The Right Has To Offer"? Frankly, I suspect it's organized by the Left, certainly the people who show up are just the dumbest suckers on the Right.
It makes no sense to hold public protests and demonstrations in a jurisdiction where the Left has control of either the police or the courts. If you're going to rally, do it where it will be allowed to remain orderly, not where the police will assist "counter-protesters" in assaulting you and arrest you for assault if you defend yourself. Do you have the power to lynch crooked police and judges with impunity? If not, you don't have the power to show off by parading in their space.
The Left is chaos. The Right is order. Running wild in the streets, blocking traffic, being assholes, etc. is their thing. It's a show of disorder, proof of their power.
