How did a guy with no experience flying manage to stay in the air for half an hour, execute a barrel roll and do all this without autopilot ?
How did a guy with no experience flying manage to stay in the air for half an hour...
jesus took the wheel my leaf fren
video games
he played a couple videos games.... so he sorta knew what he was doing
The only thing holding us back are the limits we place upon ourselves. Planebro lived his final moments outside those limits.

Flying is easy. Landing is the hard part.
>Just wingin it.
I fucking lol'd buddy that's hilarious
he was a white guy
They say flying is easy...
How the fuck did that guy manage to take off without running off the tarmac and creating a firey explosion?
Video games make you smart
War thunder
...
He believed in himself.
god walking amongst mere mortals
with video games you can simulate everything
thank me later
He listened to R Kelly once and believed he could fly
Jews
He's airplane ground crew so he probably knew how to start the planes and taxi them out of a hangar.

RIP , We didn’t deserve you.
They let a baggage handler anywhere near the controls of a plane? Really?
It was already confirmed this was not part of his job
there are books teaching you everything
he was decent yes but not as genetically gifted in flying like arabs
He was a baggage handler... how does this equate to moving the plane AT ALL?
youtube.com
RIP Skyking, he deserves a joyfull tribute, stop the sad shit.
I'm an autistic neet and even I can copilot a plane every so often.
He trained at home
Too soon. Next week we celebrate his life. For now we mourn his passing.
I blame Got Dang Vidya Games
If you can drive a forklift you can fly a small plane. Flying isn't very difficult as long as you have basic knowledge. Landing is the most dangerous part of flying.
Sorry guys I have no idea then. He probably learned it from a youtube video.
Flight sim lmfao
>I swear to god if you guys play highway to the danger zone one more time I'm going to take one of these planes and fucking leave
>*turns on the radio*
>"Revvin' up your engine, listen to her howlin' roar"
anyone have the kenny loggins version?
Likely by playing a flight sim game, right? ezpz, they even sell pedals, and throttles and sim shit, kinda like sim racing, right?
This is how he was able to take off...
Copilot does not mean take the plane from ground position, get to speed, take off, and do a barrel roll without stalling or crashing. Your actual pilot was controlling the plane in the long run, even if you fucked it all up.
people act like you have to be rain man to fly a sky car. even a casual flight simulator would teach you most of the basics minus stresses on the aircraft. its not like he wasn't scraping the ground dangerously, and he bailed on his barrel roll really
It's the taking off part that has me baffled...
Even trained pilots fuck that up sometimes.
White Supremacy. This is why kikes kvethch and put all of their malice in their media against. It's what scares them because if 1000 millenn fags decided to do this we even more devestation, it's over.
Pilots are glorified bus drivers.
Fun Fact: That song was written in less than 24 hours in a hotel room by Kenny Loggins.
Yes it does. It's very easy. I'd tell you how but you'd probably try to steal a plane you copycat.
>execute a barrel roll and do all this without autopilot
>implying autopilot has a barrel roll preset
and whites are glorified blacks.
Did he crash or was he shot down?
years of years with microsoft flight simulator experience.
Taking off is easy. Landing not so much.
underrated
Daily commute drivers crash their cars all the time.
Well...it is indeed what he said. I mean the air traffic controllers seemed surprised he stayed alive that long, or else they wouldn’t have asked him how he managed to do that. I guess the only thing video games fail to teach people is how to land a plane properly.
This.
this
It's not generally too hard to take off. The most dangerous element is trying to juggle air traffic/callouts with lifting off, or something dumb like driving off the runway. I'm not saying that just anyone would be able to do it, but I think most people who can drive a forklift/heavy equipment can fly a hobby plane.
I suppose a Cessna. I have been dicking around with Xplane (good stuff for free to try).
F
Why does everyone pretend flying is hard? It's the FAA and their regulations that make it difficult to be a regular pilot.
Skyking, Skyking
Do not answer
We will always remember you

German humor is not a myth
Pic related is the button.
Could someone give me a rundown who skyking is? I really missed that one out
He has achieved immortality in the societal consciousness. Rip skyking, see you in the next cycle.
flight sims, Auto pilot doesn't do barrel rolls your fucking idiot, auto pilot maintains course and altitude.
It's a military shortwave frequency. The transmission starts out as "Skyking skyking do not answer" then gives out coded orders.
The power of meme magic.
you mean into buildings? Arabs are so inbred they are recommended to Not fly. You cousin fuckers have ruined your night vision and can't see past your own jew nose in the dark.
youtube.com
R.I.P you beautiful legend.
yes
fly thousands of kilometers straight into a 100m wide target
My old man has been a pilot for many years, had a Cessna so I know how to fly aircraft since I was a teenager. Got to fly a bigger plane the other day and it's easier than a small plane actually.
flight sims are fucking hard I just want to take off son of a bitch stop fucking with me
>Video games actually give you real life experience
Btfo anti gamer normies
Gang weed gamers rise up, our time has come.
Based
May you go in peace
How do you even do a barrel roll on such a large plane? Is it really as easy as holding the stick slightly back and full to the side?
Q predicted this kek
He was a mechanic. He knew a bit. Planes aren’t particularly difficult to take off.
Also you could never do an Immelmann with autopilot, so that’s irrelevant.
That being said, as a pilot, he earned his wings. Hopefully the FAA wakes up and stops disallowing us to seek mental help. Even something as basic as seeing a therapist can put your certificates at risk.
Fuck the FAA.
I'm brand, spanking new to these sims since literally this whole thing went down 72 hours ago. One thing I found out was to reduce sensitivity in EVERYTHING. Of course, I'm still using a mouse/keyboard.
yes. He didn't use enough rudder to conrol sideslip and lost a lot of altitude, still did really good considering.
Also, try X-Plane.
A soul in tension that's learning to fly
Condition grounded but determined to try
Can't keep my eyes from the circling skies
Tongue-tied and twisted just an earth-bound misfit, I
Friction lock, set
Mixtures, rich
Propellers, fully forward
Flaps, set, ten degrees
Engine gauges and suction, check
Mixture set to maximum percent, recheck
Flight instruments
Altimeters, check both
Navigation lights, on
Strobes, on
Confirm three-eight-echo ready for departure
Hello again, this is now 129.4
129.4, it's to go
You may commence your takeoff, winds over ten knots
Three-eight-echo
Easy on the brakes, take it easy, its gonna roll this time
Just hand the power gradually, and it
Above the planet on a wing and a prayer,
My grubby halo, a vapor trail in the empty air,
Across the clouds I see my shadow fly
Out of the corner of my watering eye
A dream unthreatened by the morning light
Could blow this soul right through the roof of the night
There's no sensation to compare with this
Suspended animation, a state of bliss
Can't keep my mind from the circling skies
Tongue-tied and twisted just an earth-bound misfit, I
>Fuck the FAA.
This! There's no such thing as an illegal pilot. He was an undocumented flight plan that's all. The sky belongs to everybody, if you can buy it you can fly it. Abolish the FAA!!!!
Just coming back from vacations, I see this plane everywhere here, can you summarize the phenomenon please?
I can’t imagine being able to even breath at this level of autism.
Unironically kill yourself
That plane is available as a third party addon for flight sims like FSX, P3D, and Xplane, so anyone with 50 bucks or however much can get it and learn it.
>planebro
You mean Skyking? Say it.
This is exactly what I went about doing lol.
Just read the checklist. If you can drive, you can get off the ground. What happens after that is the tough part.
Airport worker got fed up with life and decided to go full space cowboy and go on one last wild ride before the end
Ground Crew guy at the main airport in Seattle stole a plane and crashed it into a forested area to die.
Who has the wojak one?
Cant wait for his eventual biopic with a black lead
He crashed here. I'd say he didn't want to go in the water and maybe survive, so he found a remote location unlikely to hurt anyone on the ground.
That smoke is from his crash.
Sky King: Richard "Beebo" Rustle [F] threads are being (((deleted))). Take this.
Checked, praise Jesus
If you watch the video he almost crashed doing that roll.
But by divine intervention he pulled out of the nosedive and climbed, into that now iconic image that will inspire men worldwide to think about their lives.
Leave it to Hollywood to fuck up a good story.
I'm fairly familiar with flight sims. Never got good at them.. but what baffles me is how was he in contact with ATC. Don't they have a specific squak for each plane? I'm pretty sure I could get one off the ground. All you've gotta do is start the engines turn the parking brake off full flaps full throttle and rotate.
He was a flight mechanic who constantly flew in planes and understood how they worked. You have no idea of his experience and I seriously doubt you have any idea what it takes to fly a plane
