first off, "war on terror" is word play. The media intentionally pushes narratives and tries to change the meanings of words in order to confuse and divide people.
"war on terror" isn't a thing that was planned. It was just another propagandized talking point intended to get people to support shitty policies and gloss over violations of freedom.

He's pretty interesting and offers challenging perspectives on things. he has a shitton of material though, so it might be tricky to find the gold easily.
he's not exactly normie friendly, but he helped me out on my journey a lot, and I think his perspective is familiar enough to the "old" left that someone with normie-tier politics but an open mind could get a lot out of what he says.
