The problem with global warning (if you believe in it but reflects my position on the subject) is that science don't offer green, efficient alternatives to replace the technology we have been used to for a couple of decades. To be fair the only way to solve the problem today would cause losses in our way of living (no more individual cars, smartphones, exotic fruits at every corner, meat three times a day, cheap clothes from the other end of the world, the list goes on, and on, and on...).

And there is the real issue.

It seems like a lot of the science behind climate change is questionable and the what is it, 97% of scientistis who agree, is basically a 100% of them, scientists in a certain circle who agree that climate change is real. But they went with 97% because that's a better number to convince people, a 100% is a bit sketchy for anyone to believe.

However, while the left always complains about climate change being a huge problem that we need to solve, they never talk about something that's an even bigger problem; overpopulation. Not the overpopulation of whites, because we have replacement levels birth rates, yet they want us to have even less kids. But they never seem to talk about the massive population boom in Africa, caused by all the foreign aid that the west gives them. It didn't cause Africans to increae their quality of life, they just started having even more and more kids, continuing the same problems but with even bigger populations. I believe by 2050, the population of Africa is estimated to become around 4 billion. Right now it's only 1.2 billion. In 1950 the whole world had a population of 2.55 billion. Africa's population boom will cause a lot of trouble for the world, it's a huge problem. The majority of Africa is dependent on foreign aid, without it, around 60% of Africa would starve to death.

Yet nobody seems to talk about how foreign aid to Africa is a huge fucking problem.

But the reality is is that millions of people live in poverty in China, and more technology is helping improve living conditions. And the Chinese government isn't going to sacrifice their population's quality of life for the environment. Same deal with India.

My response is that it is paywalled, and an abstract doesn't mean shit. I kind find scientific abstracts on kooky shit like magnetic vector potential equating to zero-point energy, but you have to dig through the actual paper to find the flaws.

Air and water are polluted as fuck ; they are daily exposed to cheap, uncontrolled products (the kind they won't export in the west but maybe in africa...) ; in major cities traffic has become a major issue that no bigger road will solve ; they had several sanitary scandals due to poor practices of the food industry...

I'm not saying that the average Chinese is more implicated in those changes that we are but at a global level they tend to regulate more than us.

It's usually the other way around. It's environmental groups and universities that pump out papers suggesting global warming is a thing. Many of those writing the papers aren't even scientists in the sane sense, they're instead things like women's studies professors. It's how the 90% figure came to be, the people that are useless and pump out meaningless papers put out a ton of papers and some guy looked at some and decided for himself whether it meant the person was pro or anti global warming theory.

Green energy companies are also incredibly ineffective in terms of their cost versus output, making it a much bigger racket than what oil companies have going.

Nuclear energy efficiently solve the CO2 problem but has major weakness.
