Did you know a large minority of Germans are descendants of Sorbs or Slovenians? Saying the Germans would persecute Slavs amounts to saying they would persecute themselves.
Anyways, many Slavic countries, such as the Ukraine, Slovenia, Bulgaria, and Croatia were solid German allies. Others like Serbia and Slovakia were not so solid, but also on the German side.
