The first (1962) paper is a general review of the earlier literature on adrenochrome and in its wake adrenolutin, another metabolite and oxidation/rearrangement product of adrenochrome which is also active.
The second (1971) paper is one carefully hidden, previously unavailable even for the journals behind a paywall. I had to go to a university library to get a physical copy to scan, and there aren't many that carry that particular journal. It is on the specific psychotomimetic (psychosis-like) effects of adrenochrome, whose physiological activity in both animals and man is without doubt.
