This is a good thing. Creating sperm is an incredibly stressing process, requiring both nutrients and energy. When you are not forcing the body to produce new semen all the time, the body will have more resources available for other metabolic processes that, while of lesser priority, are still important to overall welbeing.

This makes sense to me. If I keep bustin nuts all day everyday, my body shouuld increase sauce production levels. Same as when I workout and rip up my muscles, my body makes them stronger. Here's an experiment, try checking a comatose dude's t levels after a few weeks of being out and measure again when the dude wakes up and starts jerking it again

It's not that your testosterone is lowering back to baseline, it's your body becoming more effective at utilizing the available test.

It's not just serum t and and androgen reception in the brain that increase, there are many other positives neuroendocrine effects as well. When you stop the frequent orgasm it signals your neuroendocrine system that you are not reproducing. Your neuroendocrine system then ups all of the neurotransmitters and hormones associated with aggression, assertiveness, sociability, mental acuity, etc. All of the things that would increase the likelihood of finding a mate. let's look at animal behavior. A red winged black bird, lets say, will have highest testosterone production while looking for a mate and fucking that mate. As in, while splooging. Guess what happens when birds successfully mate, have their offspring, and stop having sex? That's right, lower T, Higher E, and more nesting behavior as opposed to being aggressive.
Why is this advantageous in an evolutionary sense? Because a male that has ceased fucking (has already reproduced) will not pass on his genes if he's aggressive enough to kill off his own offspring so that he can keep on getting his dick wet.

Abstinence is only one factor, though. Unless you're also eating a testosterone-friendly diet and doing full body strength training exercises (especially squats) your natty test isn't going to spike all that much. Then you get into micronutrients / supplements which is a whole topic of its own, but tl;dr = literally every man should be taking fish oil, zinc, magnesium and high doses of vitamin D3. Potassium iodide + selenium has its vocal advocates too (I take them personally.) Finally adequate sleep is crucial, which I'm sure many of you have a problem with - blue light from excessive internets in the late evening fucks up your body clock. At least turn down the colour temperature or use f.lux type software.
