Now it's pretty much impossible to get a license for anything other than old bolt action rifles. And even those can get denied sometimes because it's all up to the guy who stamps the paperwork at the police station. And the guys who work with issuing licenses are all hoplophobes so they will take every opportunity to deny an application sometimes even inventing rules that aren't in the laws or statutes regulating firearms ownership.

Oh god I hope not. Moving to the US is my back up. We have a small movement that is trying to push the agenda of rearming the citizenry but it's hard pushing back against decades of indoctrination. I saw a twitter argument a few months ago were a police officer almost straight up said that he prefers an innocent to be raped over a rapist getting shot. This selfrightous and "I'll sacrifice all of you for my principles" -type of attitude is so fucking wide spread in the police force I honestly don't even know which side they're on anymore.

I dont know man. Yeah, if you tried right now to disarm everyone, youd have bundy and waco style standoffs in every county of the country. But a slow disarmament strategy is already in the works, they're indoctrinating these kids to be anti gun, and all the (((school shootings))) arent helping the matter. If they cant do it now, they'll have our own kids do it. Rot us from withing. They already broke the family unit. Turning us against eachother will be no problem. There seems to be a slow shift by the centrists to support gun control/gun bans. They really got to people by branding them "assualt weapons", and "fully semi automatic". The no gunners go nuts when they hear those terms.
Its a slow process, but they know that, and they're moving inch by inch to their end goal.
