Friends, I just found this book that predicted what is happening, would you agree? My friends that I don't agree with often told me to post my ideas here. Thanks.

1984 doesn't predict shit. It's about the Soviet Union.
Here's the real one
Take the proxy off, if you were from the US you would know that book.
What did it predict?
1984 officially began August 6 2018, but Turner diaries are closer to what's actually begining to happen now
1984 + Brave New World
Brave New World is far more accurate, you can't control people fully with pure military & ideological suppression a la 1984. You need to coax them into a false sense of security with free sex, drugs, music, and a rigid caste system. Orwell was completely fucking spot-on about doublethink and newspeak though
Read also 'Animal Farm', also by Orwell.
its an exaggerated example of the USSR.
England is getting there though
"In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act." - George Orwell
>Read also 'Animal Farm', also by Orwell.
I haven't read it. Thank you.
>Brave New World
I haven't read this either. Thank you.
It's shorter, but very rich in analogies, and very revealing. The zoo of communism.
I've read it many times, there's also an audiobook version.
>Take the proxy off, if you were from the US you would know that book.
I'm in the USA. California. :-)
Heads up. It's possible to live in USA and not read all books.
>Turner diaries
I've heard about it, how is it?
Thank you.
>just found this book
fuck lol
>predicted what is happening
halfway, read Brave New World, and you'll get the other half
>told me to post my ideas here
are you a real person or some strange troll?
Not if you want a high school diploma, 1984 is required reading in a lot of schools in the US.
Yes, I do agree. It's a masterpiece.
Johnny Reb is right, it's literally just Animal Farm 2, Author Self-Insert Boogaloo
>in the end he loves big brother
They basically write out their plan and said you'll hate it at first but you'll come around.
...
>Not if you want a high school diploma, 1984 is required reading in a lot of schools in the US.
Not at my high school.
1984 used to be English curriculum for high school students in the U.S. Same with Animal Farm.
Interesting.
>1984 used to be English curriculum for high school students in the U.S. Same with Animal Farm
I had learning difficulty with reading so I never had to read the 'required reading', catcher in the rye and gilbert grape come to mind.
I didn't start reading much until I went to college.
You should probably try reading Brave New World by Huxley as well.
>You should probably try reading Brave New World by Huxley as well.
I'm going to find it on youtube and listen to it.
Thank you.
>England is getting there though
And that's a good thing.
1984 world you have a job, a place to live and food.
Public executions for gore fans, rebellious girls who like older men.
Goldstein is hated.
>I'm going to find it on youtube and listen to it
What a world.
There is reason why leader of the controlled opposition in the book is called Immanuel Goldstein
they're both usually go hand-in-hand. brave new world is a highly meritocratic society in which your destiny is set at birth and you have a pre-disposed lifestyle in certain levels of outcome.
your job is to be your level, look down on the level below you and maintain the goals of all levels. iirc it's based in eugenics or selective breeding or tested at birth.
also, in the current year context i'm sure a lot of these communist 20 year olds would directly related it to wealth in our society. an alpha+ would be someone who inherited huge amounts of wealth, etc.
BNW is also a reflection of the British class system.
it's just an overview. reader can make their own connections
Oh yes indeed, it was just a thought that struck me with what you wrote.
Too tired to add , ... Its been along time, welcome to reality fren.
Broke: 1984
Woke: Brave New World
