I joined Jow Forums earlier this year and am unfamiliar with the history of the board. What was Jow Forums like on the evening and night of November 8th, 2016? Was it as glorious as they say?
Election Night
Extremely epic. The best moment on Jow Forums since the Zimmerman trial and chocolate rambo
What or who is chocolate rambo?
It was magic. Go watch the young turks election night video but imagine the opposite reaction all being sperged by the elite autists.
I had fun, and I don't really care about Trump, but that night I did.
Forgot his name, but he was some guy who went postal and then was killed in a mysterious fire that police claim they didnt set
Dumb fuck. CAN'T CORNER THE DORNER.
it of course started with imwithher trolls talking all of their bullshit
but then memes and vote counts took over and they couldn't even get traction before another mega dank meme or state would report and knock them off their feet again
it was awesome to see her personally fail when she felt so entitled
the mid terms will be glorious
because it means full maga ahead
Do you think voters are scared shitless to tell the pollster they don't like the Democrats, and come November, the Democrats will lose more seats?
2015+ has been cancerous reddit tier bullshit. This place has only gotten worse since then
this video right here. imagine believing WW3 was on the brink, a soul-crushing new age depression was moments away and then this washed over us
no
the pollsters are liars
period
I'm reading Shattered right now (book about her failed campaign) and it's hilarious. I really feel like I'm gloating reading it. Especially since I was on the outside and remember participating in a lot of the shit they freaked out over internally while it was going on.
I'm only a few chapters in, but at this point I think I can say that HRC is just a shitty leader. She couldn't keep her 08 or 16 campaigns under fucking control, and she failed to understand the problems of using a private email server without ALSO using her gov account at least enough to deal with FOIA requests. But the most damning thing is her inability to LEAD her campaign teams. Can you imagine if she'd become president and had to deal with the cabinet level shit Trump is dealing with? At least Trump fired Tillerson and EPA guy. Sessions is fucking next.
yes.
Dear OP
Modern politics can be explained with the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
"Us", the good guys, would be the good guys, who want order, and marriage and schools and sovereignty etc. "Them" are the bad guys, who would be the disgusting barbarian orcs and the faggot hobbits (imagining that they were on the same side).
>Sessions is fucking next.
not by a long shot
It was definitely a happening
Haven't come down yet
examples of some of the things they were freaking out over internally?
Did she mention the Alt-Right in the book?
The board was moving really fast and we were posting CTR screencaps of them saying they would win. Also a music video started.
from that day onward, this board started going to shit.
the ass on that blonde in the back fuggg
I barely remember what this board was like before the boomers came
How so?
Meh, Dorner was way more fun when we still thought he was some ballsy vigilante who was gonna wage a one-man-war against corrupt politicians and feds... then it turned out he was just some nigger who chimped out, murdered his lawyer's family, and shot a bunch of random beat cops.
Redditors like you joined
I was so fucking smug when trump won. like for 2 weeks couldnt stop smiling
too bad when ur at the top only way is down. if he wasnt already at the top he could get there as a joke and id fucking vote him all the way there
This board was screaming through threads do to shills for weeks and days progressively getting worse
then it happened
why do leafs even bother to speak? it's like watching a toddler try to tie shoes
CAn you put a NikE loGo on that please
You can read through the election thread here:
archive.4plebs.org
I recommend watching fox/cnn/pbs coverage on youtube while reading the thread.
First time i heard this song because it was stickied to the top of pol the entire night.
>I shed a tear for all who fell in the meme wars
Examples:
>benghazi
>email server
>sanders entering the primary
>campaign leaks
>trump announcing his candidacy
It goes all the way through but those are what have happened in the first three chapters that I helped fan the flames of. At the time I was just trolling and wasn't on board the trump train, but I knew I fucking hated HRC. Throughout the entire campaign season I was promoting Bernie and Jill Stein to dems, scouring leaks and publicizing them everywhere I could, and spreading info about HRC's numerous scandals. I doubt I was very influential but it was a great way to blow off steam.
Don't forget this classic
www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vx3_2ks5qQ
I'm not that far yet but undoubtedly. I also picked up a book from some leftie nutjob about the alt right that I'm going to greatly enjoy reading as I laugh at it. I'm tempted to start a youtube channel for book reviews just to tear these books apart but sadly I'm not good at video editing and don't quite have the time to make them very good. At best it would be a 601 second rant where I read a line, bitch for a minute, then skip ahead to another line, repeated ad nauseum.
I read that book-- HRC & Mook were so obsessed with data and algorithims. Elan Kriegel and his team miscalculated BIGLY. His program "Ada" was a joke. I can't believe he didn't get Arkancided.
The most arrogant part of her campaign team was their reliance on data--old school democrats who campaigned by actually connecting with their base face-to-face--people like Bill, Donna Brazile and that lady from Michigan could clearly see that HRC was going to lose.
Personally I don't think that relying on data was a mistake. The problem is failing to understand the limitations of that data. Probably only one person on the entire fucking planet REALLY understands the limits of statistical data (Taleb).
More damning was HRC's failure to understand the Electoral College, and how polls might be accurate nationwide but INaccurate at the state level, where it matters. Realistically nationwide polls (for the POTUS election) are fucking useless. You need state level polling and you need to disregard literally everything else. Polling firms don't understand that, though, because it's harder to break up lists of phone numbers by state than it is to just do a national poll.
I agree with your point re: Taleb- he does a great job of explaining it.
Keep reading, you will see their obsession with Kriegel's data, they put way too much trust in those numbers--which led to her campaign believing that the "Blue Wall" would hold-which led them to pursue # of votes HRC could rack up throughout the country overall. They wanted to rub Trump's face in it and they took their eye off the ball because they didn't think Trump could come close to 270.
They never thought she could lose.
Sweet, I'm gonna enjoy the rest of this book.
Oh the glorious salt.
good god lady get a grip
The Shock & Awe.
I know you will! I am currently reading Amy Siskind's book, "The List: A Week-By-Week Reckoning of Trump's First Year". Basically, it is billed as a "list of actions taken by the Trump regime that pose a threat to our democratic norms". SO MUCH SALT!!
Going through these pics again puts me in a good mood.
parody account, read the bio
I saw that, didn't want to spend money on it though. This weekend I took a trip to San Francisco and visited all the bookstores there (except two, for dumb reasons). I'm probably going to review them all in /lit/ later this week. I think I spent over $1000 on books but most of them are being shipped to me over the next week, so I don't have a full list of what I bought handy. But I did get a bunch of salt (and also a hard copy of Rules for Radicals).
It was an eye opening experience, though. Three of the bookstores were openly supportive of violently imposing leftist rule, as evidenced by carrying Jacobin out in the open. Also one of the bookstores glowed in the dark so hard I'm 100% sure I'm now being investigated just for walking into it, looking around, and not buying anything.
multiple orgasms from watching liberal tears. gets me hard every time.
Enjoy.
I'm reading it too, my liberal brother got it for me
It's so obvious that they wrote most of the book before the election as a tribute to her "historic" campaign and "shattering" the glass ceiling. Most paragraphs are glowing then will slip in something at the end about how she was the problem or something like that. They probably had to go and revise all of the campaign dynamics too once the blinders were off
Chris Dorner
It kinda makes me feel bad for Bill, because he was clearly smarter than everyone on Clinton's team but was completely sidelined. And I don't think Dems have learned their lesson either
Its was a and still is a life changing event.....
We were watching this guy on the pic on Infowars.
I honestly might have spent more time on kikebook and plebbit mining salt than I did here. Especially after Michigan was called, holy shit that was the funniest my news feed has ever been
I've never been prouder to be a Zionist. It was truly a magical moment for Zionism worldwide.
The material from that night is endless. It's still being uncovered. Historians will think that some giant cataclysm happened that night
I try & read as many of the left's books on Trump & HRC that I can find. I have found that in their hatred of Trump, their rage can't be kept in check and they slip up and drop some really interesting information that hasn't been discussed in the MSM. Also, I enjoy reading all of the articles they site as "sources". It is such a great resource reference.
Stay safe in California! I paid cash for "Rules for Radicals". Don't worry about the glow in the dark bookstore--I bet it's not you they are interested in.
I called my dad just before the election results started to come in. He and my mom also voted Trump but they said the despite the fact they wanted him to win, they didn't think it was possible because of what the media had been saying about polls and shit.
I watched the results in my college dorm with a bunch of other people. Only 1 other guy voted for trump, the rest were liberals. They kept CNN on the TV but I was on Jow Forums checking the real live results. I shit you not, they called CA instantly for Hillary to make it look like she was way ahead but took nearly an hour after Fox and NBC called Texas and Florida for Trump to announce them. People were asking me in a terrified voice (since I was announcing these results CNN wasn't calling and these retards didn't actually know anything about how the election worked) if there was any way Hillary could still win, and I falsely reassured them that "there was a chance". They were losing their shit, tearing posters off the dorms walls that were ironically liberal propaganda (stuff like respecting people no matter their race or gender bullshit) and vandalizing them by writing "Not my president" on them. The other guy and I were just ducking sitting there smug the entire fucking time even when they got a speaker and started blasting the jew nigger song "fuck trump" or whatever it was that was rotting their brains.
Needless to say, I had a good night sleep that night.
President Trump will always be remembered as the man that put the country back to work.
lol thanks
You are right. He has such an excellent finger on the pulse of the Democrat voter base. But, it was "Her Turn" and she did not heed his advice and multiple warnings. Hubris is a lesson the Democrats just can't seem to learn.
Gloriously on fire with shills and excitement. A night I'll never forget
Maybe he knew it was better this way.
They have a prior interest in me anyway, so I'm sure I'll hear about it at some point. I plan to just tell them that if they're going to set up a honeypot, to make it less obvious.
Yeah, California... Fucking strange place. Haight street is total garbage full of potheads. SF as a whole isn't even really all that bad, it's just got stage 4 cancer. With the right chemotherapy it could be a glorious bastion of white identity and a place to raise white children. Just needs the chemo.
I agree on the reading what leftists are writing. They're incredibly open about their agenda and they do drop interesting hints from time to time. Their opsec is total shit.
It was kek worthy with all the lefty meltdowns
Ironically i found the New York Times election website to be an accurate predictor throughout the election. I hope they don’t change it.
you will probably never be able to experience such a glorious event again.
From the book it seems like after his comments during the '08 run, HRC wanted him kept on a very tight leash to prevent that happening again.
He was begging Mook to be put on the ground in those states with "his" people (working/middle class whites) but everyone thought he would be a liability.
> Canada's immigration website has crashed
Fucking kek
I forgot about that
I don't even think what he said was that bad. Everyone was terrified that he dare criticize Obama but he was right the media was sucking his mulatto cock
Glorious!
2020 will be the cherry on the cake. Imagine them suffering for that long and just when they think it's over NOPE, BACK YOU GO, FOUR MORE YEARS!
That's
>Saint Dorner, The Just
Actually teared up
watching liberals literally shaking with anger and disappointment on livestreams was one of the highlights of that year
it will be great but after being ravaged once they probably understand it can happen again. That first night was beautiful.
i had some shitty twitch stream that was laughing at the thought of Trump winning open. Bitch and his beta crowd argued with me for like half an hour cause I said he was guaranteed. Went full meltdown when he won though.
thanks, I've read through the trump generals from election day, but I haven't read the sticky? How do you find stickied threads int eh archive?
>they probably understand it can happen again
lol
>What was Jow Forums like on the evening and night of November 8th, 2016? Was it as glorious as they say?
It was VERY Glorious. Second greatest day of my life, with the first being the day I got out of the army.
Jow Forums was fucking nuts that day, it was getting hundreds of posts per second, everyone was freaking the fuck out
I couldn't believe we actually won, I had tears when the mods stickied this:
youtube.com
Yup. Another 2016 campaign blunder. I have met WJC and he is the most charismatic individual I have ever encountered. (When I met him, I was unaware most of his shocking bad habits)
>he's banned now
sad
Motherfuck, hits ya right in teh feels...
ahhh i see thanks guy
>THIS IS MUH FITE SONG, TAKE BACK MUH LIFE SONK
the first 3 seconds of this song awakens so many feelings in me
was raining after work
my poll station from 4 years ago closed and relocated across the city... got there and it was dark... cast my vote and rolled down the windows and blasted this song the whole way home and snuggled on a blanket on the floor of my apartment... my college best friends group text on fire the whole night... was watching the florida poll numbers in realtime on msnbc... his lead kept holding at like 9,000 as the panhandle counties reported... and I knew he had it, not enough blues in that area to diminish that lead... and that was when I knew
I rewatch the fox news coverage of that night at least once a month
I've heard that too. There's a reason he was president twice. Just think if that had been deployed on the campaign trail, even with all the rape allegations because he always got by those
I hear you. I think I pinged their radar last year. Maybe one day I can share my story on /pol. It all depends on how certain events play out.
Good luck-
Good luck to you too, man, and everything I have ever posted or written or said or indicated was satire and does not reflect my true thoughts.
I got back into school the year after and I really wish I'd done it a year sooner just to be on campus the day after. Some guest speaker was in my class the year after and she mentioned how the room was much cheerier than her lecture the year prior
