I'd go hunting with my father alot,we'd get deer,hogs,racoons, and we'd shoot Bobcats or other feral cats if we saw them,as they'd be a threat to our animals. We would have some fun with tanerite,set up a bucket of it,wait for a group of hogs to roll in,and bang! 20+hogs dead all around,wed have to go around and finish em off. More like pest control than for food when we would do that. I've raised chickens,goats,cows,turkeys,rabbits,pigs and guineas. Would like to have about the same in the future. Each kid was given an animal,my specialty was the chickens,but I would help my siblings out with their animals too. Actually took over the cows for a while because my brother wasnt feeding them,and we had one of our breeders starve to death. Parents reassigned to me because I was responsible and gave a damn about the animals. Dad made me shoot my favorite Turkey last thanksgiving,his name was Tom.
