Victorian Sudanese Crime Statistics
The Victorian Sudanese population as of 2017 is approximately 8,500 making up depending on the source .1% to .15% of the total Victorian population whilst also committing 1% of all the crimes in the state.
Make note that both the population crime stats don’t include Australian born Sudanese just Sudanese born Sudanese and as such Australian born Sudanese would fall under Australian born crimes. Also note that Australia’s population at present is comprised of 1 in 3 citizens who are not born here and that Australian born crime can statistics can be altered from what would be considered a population of predominantly Anglo Australians to also include children of foreign nationals as noted prior.
Out of the total alleged crimes in the state that had taken place in 2017 about 850 of them were allegedly committed by Sudanese. Of course conviction is another matter but time and time again we’ve seen them get off because of the fucked up Melbourne justice system.
So just on these basic number in 2017 1 in 10 or 10% of Sudanese in Victoria have been accused of committing a whole range of crime. Out of those Sudanese alleged of committing crimes almost all if not all of them are apparently aged between 10 and 35.
To make matters worse in Victoria only 1 in 3 Sudanese are aged between 10 and 35 meaning that the potential criminal demographic really drops from 8,500 to about 2,750.
So now out of a population of 2,750 Victorian Sudanese 850 of them are alleged of committing crimes or almost 1 in 3 in 2017 alone.
Also note that these crimes stats don’t include repeat crimes and the shit we’ve seen happen in 2018 and the police taking action to not even make arrests because arresting violent Sudanese may put local residents at risk.
