There is no set age on when to have kids. You just have to make sure you've got 3 things in check

- You can financially support your family and you own the home you live in so living space security of your family can never be threatened.

- You're married to a woman who you know you will never break-up with. People always say "you can never know if you'll get divorced" but that's horse shit. A smart person will see toxic signs from a person within the first year of knowing them. If you have fundamental worldview differences with your partner, it won't last, so marry a woman who thinks like you do.

- Be under 40 years old when you have your first child. You want to be around for your kids in the world for as long as possible. You won't want to be almost 60 when they reach their 18th birthday.

Oldfag here (with 3 kids): I'm not telling you what to do, but first, good decision. Having kids was the greatest decision I ever made. For me, I started when I was 36, which I think may have been a little late in life. But at 20 you are still establishing yourself. So, I would say start between 23 and 36. Big window there. Don't listen to these fags tell you not to have kids 'until you have a solid job.' If you can afford a roof over your head, then your kid will have a roof over it's head. They eat very little. Kids don't get expensive until later in life and only then if you start putting them into expensive extracurricular activities.

Oh one more thing... having kids is a WINDOW... not a point in time. Meaning: If you want to have 3 kids, then you are going to need around 6 years. So if you start at 30, your last will be born when you are 36. Keep that in mind.
