Why don't conservatives care about the debt when there's a republican president?
Treasury showed what no president ever wants to admit: The deficit is spiking. The federal government’s red ink this year is already 21 percent above what it was in 2017, and there are few prospects that the bottom line will improve anytime soon. Trump's deficits are permanent Unlike the trillion dollar budget deficits that occurred during the Obama administration that were temporary and largely the result of the Great Recession, the Trump deficits that will soon reach and exceed $1 trillion are permanent and will only get worse in the years ahead.
The Trump deficits are the result of changes in federal spending and revenue that will continue to be in place until some president and Congress decide to reverse them, that is, to increase taxes and make cuts to popular programs. Not only has there been little appetite to do that, many in Congress and the Trump administration seem to be hellbent on ignoring the deficit and national debt and increasing spending and reducing revenue even further.
For example, the White House last week proposed a new Space Force that would likely add billions, if not hundreds of billions, to the Pentagon’s budget. Trump has asked for $25 billion for the wall he wants to build between the U.S. and Mexico. His much talked about but still unseen infrastructure plan would cost countless billions more.

Social Security & Medicare are slowly dying, but no one in Washington will lift a finger From USA today
>Social Security & Medicare are slowly dying, but no one in Washington will lift a finger >Anarcho capitalist flag Arent you supposed to be happy with this?
Thomas Rivera
Ignore the flag and focus on the facts please.
Brandon Baker
He's probably a Canadian or some other foreigner who picked the first meme flag on the list.
Jordan Miller
Provide evidence that any of this is happening first >Social Security & Medicare are slowly dying
They can't die fast enough
Kayden Foster
>Why don't conservatives care about the debt when there's a republican president? Uniparty traitors. It's been 96 years since a republican president signed a budget to decrease the size of government.
Fake ass motherfuckers.
Literally, Republicans are the same unaware and compliant.
fake news. trump is literally making america great again and btfo the jews at the same time. sage.
Jayden Bell
The flag is part of the facts, you anarchocuck
Alexander Smith
>Provide evidence that any of this is happening first Provide evidence the deficit is growing? Are you serious? Provide evidence republicans aren't blaming Trump for it even though they blasted Obama for the same thing relentlessly? Are you serious? Provide evidence for what? Everything listed are facts, not the fake kind of facts you see Trump regularly posting either. Still waiting to hear why republicans suddenly don't care about the debt when one of them is in charge.
Jaxson Long
>ignore the flag KYS
Josiah Miller
>Muh flag So no argument as to why republicans suddenly stop caring about the debt when one of them is in charge then I guess?
Cooper Edwards
>65 KB >Trump trillion-dollar-plus deficits are putting America on a path to fiscal ruin Good, we need a happening so badly
Kayden Ross
Provide evidence that the deficit matters The dollar is the prettiest mare in the glue factory, all fiat is shit and every government that matters is going deebly in denbts. Trump is pushing the deficits to new highs and the dollar is significantly stronger than it was during the start of Trump's presidency. How do you explain this, libertariancuck?
Eli Robinson
The last 4 presidents hate budgets. The congresses in 3 of those 4 also hate budgets They all just want to kick the can down the road. The president that has a plan to fix it is 100% unelectable, because nobody will ever vote for the guy that massively raises everyone's taxes while massively cutting back spending.
Nathaniel Torres
@182905000 Sorry, I don't give (You)s to leafs
Robert Rogers
I thought kikes liked debt?
Christian Stewart
>meme flag >incoherent ramblings Into the trash it goes.
Jeremiah Fisher
Killing welfare would solve the deficit. >Trump has asked for $25 billion for the wall he wants to build between the U.S. and Mexico.
I do wonder how much money does it go into paying walfare for the illegal subhuman immigrants.
If yoy came here to tell us that both parties are corrupt you really wasted your time because nobody is denying any of that.
No matter what shit Trump fucks up, it's still better than having democrats rule the country.
Levi Cox
>Provide evidence that the deficit matters Is that you Dick Cheney?
Daniel Davis
of course not. trumpsuckers are the definition of cucks. all they know how to do is worship at the feet of other men.
Interest on debt will exceed $500 billion next year. Meaning that money goes out the door before we actually spend that money on goods and services for our own country. Interest rates are artificially held down to maintain a lower interest which creates an enviornment where individual savers can't get interest on their savings. For yield in the face of inflation this forces investors into riskier assets that put them at the mercy of people who can short the markets before a crash. While the US is the prettiest of the ugly sisters, the Emerging markets are in trouble as the interest rises, in addition to QT, liquidity crisis and perhaps defaults. This puts us all at risk of contagion.
Levi Hill
This is what we wanted all along you dumb cucks. The only reason we supported Trump is so that we can have economic collapse and a happening, that's all we ever wanted. Stupid fucking libtard leftists still don't understand this, we never cared about any of this, Trump clearly was involved with Russians and it doesn't matter, it all causes chaos and it leads to happenings which we thrive on. Get the fuck off our board if you don't understand this shit. We WANT an economic collapse to happen, it would be the happening of the decade if it were worse than 2008-2010, so many normies turned into wagies, so many wagies out of the job, boomers forced to become wagies to pay their mortgages. Can't fucking wait! Meanwhile crypto prices will soar and we will all finally make it
We knew all along Trump was a clown and idiot, it's so obvious from the start, that's why we supported him so fucking hard, it was hilarious to see how asshurt he made people during the race, and it led to many memes and loads of original content that will remain forever part of the culture of this board. All the serious retards in /PTG/ are either ironic shitposting, or the retards that showed up to this board and thought that our own ironic shitposting was serious and decided they agreed with it.
I think this guy is a ghost Dem. No counter arguments on deficit he’s replied to whatsoever.
Dylan Hall
Do they have internet in the West Bank? Inshallah brother
Justin Jackson
>4% growth >thinks there will be a deficit that was the whole point his fiscal policies were made under the assumption of 4% growth you retard. These articles are based on king niggers shit tier growth rates.
Jackson Ward
No. But Dick Cheney is the greatest de facto president the United States has ever had
Xavier Roberts
Didn't you just bitch about how he didn't provide you with evidence? So your response to him now is to call him Ol'Shootem like a Duck Dick and not respond to a reasoned point?
We're prepping for WW3. We have always been prepping for it, you just didn't want to believe it.
Michael Gomez
>This puts us all at risk of contagion. The Turd World, or as you call it "emerging markets" will want to own some of the dollars printed by the FED. Effectively the United States can turn whole countries into vassals with cash printed by the FED and distributed by the FED swap lines
Austin Ramirez
>drives up debt before destroying debt Makes sense. The faster we have too much debt to be manageable the quicker we can fix things.
I’d argue us isn’t that much at risk of contagion from em debt crisis. Sovereign debt is defo troubling though. Especially if you’re in for a bear ride next year. Hardly Trump’s fault though.
Time to start space force funding. Shame that will give strength to socialists arguments.
Christian Torres
>We're prepping for WW3. We have always been prepping for it, you just didn't want to believe it. Trump doesnt need to fight WW3, he just needs to drive the dollar higher with his policies like the tax cuts and tax repatriation plans. The Turd world (Russia and China included) will crumble. Tinpot dictators like Erdogan and Ramaphosa will perish first, Xi and Putin will follow later
Dominic Myers
The problem with GDP and how growth is measured is that it includes debt spending. Say Jerome has $5, I have 5$. Jerome borrows $15 with interest from a shady hooked nose guy in an alley who prints money. I use that $5 to buy a used engineering book. Jerome buys a $20 bag of crack. On paper Jerome's GDP is 4x the size of mine, I have invested towards being more productive while Jerome owes money with interest and is fiending for more crack.
Michael Turner
Full centralization doesn’t make sense as much as global turnover of traditional central bank policies. It could mean that fiat is more than just vulnerable. It’s ineffective.
Evan Gutierrez
Deficits obviously make the national debt go up if you understand anything about economics. Deficits do matter, and Raegan was an idiot. The point here is that republicans slammed Obongo relentlessly for increasing it, and still do, while turning a blind eye to Trump doing the same thing.
>what's that? i'll just ignore the entire thread, including the post i'm replying to?
no wonder you faggots are unemployable parasites. i'm sure mommy and daddy are real proud!
Zachary Morris
We don't know how levered up EU banks are with Turkish debt, that's the problem with shadow banking. How much exposure they have, we don't know. But if the EU banks start failing, US banks are next in line. I'm not blaming Trump but he's not addressing the problem at all. He's just trying to maintain it, admittedly by advocating lower interest rates and a weak dollar just like the Obama years.
Lincoln Garcia
>The point here is that republicans slammed Obongo relentlessly for increasing it, Debt to GDP is what matters. If debt is growing at a slower pace than the economy then deficits do not matter you utter brainlet. Obama was all about wasteful spending, Trump is all about dem fiscal neutral and positive tax cuts
>Deficits do matter, and Raegan was an idiot. Reagan and Gorbachev ended the Cold War you commie fuck
Juan Miller
I am not sure what Trump voters are supposed to do. Vote for Hillary? No one gives a shit about deficits, no matter who you elect they will grow. As far as escalation to a total collapse, Bernie would be best for that, not Trump.
Joshua Bell
>The president that has a plan to fix it is 100% unelectable, because nobody will ever vote for the guy that massively raises everyone's taxes while massively cutting back spending.
Basically putting a pillow over the economy's head. You can't tax the super rich, they'll get wind of the tax increase and dump all their wealth offshore and close all the businesses they own, leaving you to starve like a commie nigger.
The rich are giving you a job and basically feeding you, don't like it? Go to venezuela
Isaiah Gutierrez
>I'm not blaming Trump but he's not addressing the problem at all. He's just trying to maintain it, admittedly by advocating lower interest rates and a weak dollar just like the Obama years. Thats because Erdoturd and the EU cucks aren't willing to be good burger vassals. Why would Trump solely address the problem if Juncker, Erdogan and all of these other retards aren't willing to help at all
Henry Gomez
Cut spending so taxes don't need to be increased. You do that by taking away the need for gibs by improving the economy. Once people make more money and more people are employed, more taxes come in naturally.
Sebastian Sanchez
Quite literally at this stage what America needs to do is make an offer to millions of white young Europeans with an education and/or skills or money to come over to America. Millions of young whites can help pay the bills of old people in America.
>countries will crumble with a whimper >wont lash out when their economic interests are at risk >wont invade their opponents and neighbors when they are in dire need of resources/capital There's no telling whether or not Trump will be at the helm when it finally kicks off, but make no mistake WW3 is on the way.
Nolan Taylor
>Quite literally at this stage what America needs to do is make an offer to millions of white young Europeans with an education and/or skills or money to come over to America. Millions of young whites can help pay the bills of old people in America. This could work very well. But it would be horrible for European economy and welfare states
Jason Walker
no thanks we got enough liberal pussies trying to take our guns as it is
In some way it would be a double win but in another way it could be a horrible mistake. Imagine all the young Frenchmen and women move to America and leave the nukes with white boomers and militant Islamist zoomers
Colton Cook
It’s true that Presidents are hardly to blame like op is doing. But people with bias will just see debt and contagion and will cry impeachment. Even though the opposition will make the collapse of the Roman Empire look like a cheap teleplay
We do know how levered banks are and their risk of exposure. BBVA, GS both getting curbstomped by it. It doesn’t help that a particular German bank is in shambles.
Evan Morris
>death of europe
Good, Europe is doomed anyway. Take all the youngsters, every last one aged 17 to 35.
Why promoting jobs for European cucks who will blindly vote Socialism instead of unemployed college grads with 1 million in debt?
Jeremiah Rivera
checked but polygraphs are worthless if you are comfortable with lying as they measure not truth but your body's negative reaction to deceit besides we already have everything you have except better you bring nothing to the table
Jace Torres
>Donald Trump is 72
He won't be in office to pay the bill.
Daniel Lopez
Then check their social media accounts with an AI. I am sure you can weed out 90 percent of the liberals by just looking at the shit they post online and the friends they keep online.
Ryan Anderson
Debt is measured in dollars. When going to drive the debt up as much as we like until we can just hop over to bitcoin as the global currency. Satoshi is the US Treasury Department, you fucking rube. We'll be able to easily repay all the debt in dollars (because of hyper-inflation against bitcoin) with the satoshi coins.
Aaron Allen
lets be realistic none of you are worth the effort that would take anyone worth taking from your continent is already here you might as well be Mexican
Aaron Cruz
>muh debt who cares? debt only means something when there is a real threat of violence from the debt-holder
Jaxon Richardson
Let's all pretend obongo didn't have trillion dollar deficits.
In fact, he was the first in history.
Zachary Walker
If he ends the Federal Reserve before his first term this won't be an issue
btw if you are going near a Trump Rally you may as well bring up that question I am sure you will get a lot of support in that particular crowd
>Let's all pretend obongo didn't have trillion dollar deficits. Nobody said that. The question was why republicans don't care when it's one of their own. After 60 something replies I still didn't get a single answer. >debt only means something when there is a real threat of violence from the debt-holder China will soon be coming for it. And you can bank on that.
Camden Reed
Wrong, wrong and wrong. You have record low unemployment. Taking 10 million young Europeans in the next 3 years would increase your workforce by about 6 percent and your GDP by double that...if not more. And your tax revenue would go up by 20 percent over baseline. Essentially this means either you have 1.5 trillion unsustainable budget deficits... or 500 billion “who even cares” deficits.
GDP growth came from cutting the trade deficit and business investment. Obama's biggest GDP gains came from Government Spending. The GOP hasn't drastically increased spending, at least not relative to the size of our economy.
Michael Roberts
Sure China could flood the economy with dollars but that would be suicidal for China too, it's the equivalent of a economical nuclear war. Nobody wins from that action. If you think China and the US are enemies then you're really delusional.
Hunter Bennett
and how exactly ? Invade ? if they could they would
Adrian Adams
He's playing a rigged system to keep it afloat while he cuts all of the cancer out at the same time, of course it's gonna look messy at first.
Brandon Carter
as soon as someone mentioned the Federal Reserve OP ran away and saged the thread lol
Kikes are scared right now!
Zachary Price
we have record low unemployment and wages are finally starting to rise so you want us to take several million white wetbacks and fuck that up just so our government can waste more money? nope
Nathaniel Bennett
How the fuck is even China coming for it when they have a higher deficit and debt than USA.
If something China’s dollar addiction is what is dragging us all down.
>Worrying about your future generations as if they will be white. So cute. The national debt will be nullified when America becomes a Jewish state. You can't be indebted to yourself.
Why? Because he and the kikes are cashing in and then the bill for all this will be given to the middle class during the course of the upcoming terms, regardless of political party. This means that burgers here (or their families) will pay for all of this and literally no fucks are given.
>Why don't conservatives care about the debt when there's a republican president?
We do, we just understand that more gibs me dats obviously isn't the solution.
>Trump has asked for $25 billion for the wall
Would pay for itself many times over, even if it only reduces illegal immigration by, say, 10-20 percent. Honestly, building this wall would be one of the most fiscally responsible things we could do right now.
