Most Catholics are good people, and most priests I've spoken to are humble and good at taking stories from the Bible and translating how they can be applied to daily life. Just because there were cases of some priests doing horrible things doesn't mean they all are.

Catholicism has been completely and utterly corrupted and perverted. Jesus specifically talks about not dealing with "the church" and to have fellowship that doesn't involve a governing authority other than the Lord.

Try to attend a Latin mass if you can, novus ordo is valid but there’s a much higher chance it will be a lefty priest or a mass devoid of many traditions (but again, some novus ordo is fine, just gotta search around)

Lastly, use catholic answers and other resources if you have questions. Most of the primary criticisms of Catholicism are just blatant falsehoods or misunderstandings. There are all the explanations in the world if you just look. God bless user
