How does America have such a racist past if the majority of Americans were Christian back then?
They obviously weren't following the teachings of Jesus. Jesus talked a shitload about helping your fellow man, and poverty. He talks about poor people more than he talks about God lol.
So how was slavery legal and Native Americans mistreated if the people doing it were Christian? How could those horrible acts align with their Christian faith?
My theory is that Christianity, as well as the other two Abrahamic religions, are really just a cover for nationalism and bigotry.
>My theory is that Christianity, as well as the other two Abrahamic religions, are really just a cover for nationalism and bigotry. I hope so. The Bible reads like a homocuck manifesto.

A fundamental belief of Christianity is that all non believers burn in hell for eternity. Therefore anything can be justified as long as it results in a conversion. Torture, enslavement, the conquering of foreign peoples, it is all ok if you are saving them from hell. Christianity is an absurd disgusting farce only suited for low IQ retards with no sense of right and wrong. The Jews were right to kill Jesus.
Nicholas Price
Southerners werent christians.

Jesus hated niggers.

He lived in the Middle East. He would've never met a black person.

LMAO you are absolutely full of shit. It's funny how you think anybody is gonna buy this. You're a fucking cretin.
Julian Peterson
How am I full of shit? Where am I wrong in the OP?
Evan Allen
Jesus could fly. He flew to Africa, said "it was mostly niggers."
Landon Wright
The bible also tells slaves to obey their masters so what now?
Jack Rivera
You'll find most racists are on the Left. That is the same group that does not adhere to any religious principles. You tried, user.
Ethan Collins
>Christianity is an absurd disgusting farce only suited for low IQ retards with no sense of right and wrong.
True. Ever go view the FBI top ten most wanted fugitives list? It's full of fucking spics who were involved in drug trafficking and murder, yet when they list their tattoos it's full of Christian iconography.
One spic had a giant tattoo of Jesus on his back.
I thought that was fucking hilarious. These dumb beaners are killing people over drug trafficking, yet they buy into that MUH JESUS stuff.
Robert Hill
Christianity has been slowly returning to its Jewish roots as time passes and European people forget their pagan roots. It is not a static thing.
Oliver Walker
wrooooooooooooooooooong, blacks were in the ME as slaves

>memeflag >It's Jesus's fault people weren't doing exactly what he said >Christian society has to respect Paganism and ba'alism (in the Spaniards' case) because it's polite >God the father never endorsed any wars

You've got to understand that tattoos on criminals rarely represent what is drawn. In Russia, criminals will have churches tattooed on them and the number of domes on the church represents how long they were in jail. In the same way, commie-related tattoos on them have very little to do with the ideology as well.
Adam Collins
OP isn't wrong just striking a nerve amongst people who's god is ashamed of them.
Julian Carter
Dude the rich and greedy had slaves most people were poor as fuck and didn't like slavery cause it kept their wages down. Most people couldn't read nor did they have any free time to do so. It was Christians who ended slavery. Not atheists or Buddhists or muzzies or Jews. It was white Christian's.
Xavier Price
They weren't real Disciples of Jesus, they will face their judgement
Caleb Price
I'm noticing fags are using this tactic now where they claim religious authority and lie to threaten hellfire whether by saying "Jesus said let in refugees or go to hell" or "Jesus is a demon and if you worship Him you go to hell." It's an interesting attempt at inversion.
Gabriel Stewart
I'm not going to post proof because I'm lazy, but if you look back at the history of eugenics/planned parenthood/Darwinian evolution/etc. you'll find it was the masses of Christian people who opposed the teachings of Darwin.
However, with the obviously negative connotations of that (Them being retarded and unscientific) many religious people were also anti-abortion and anti-eugenics because it seemed immoral.
The first proponents of Darwinian evolution used it to perpetuate race hatred now that they could base it on reality, by saying black people are less evolved.
The next point is that early proponents of abortion like Sanger were non-religious, and also pro-eugenics, so long as it was to wipe out Jews and Black people.
Don't forget, Americans have always been retarded Christians, but the vast, VAST, majority of White people were not slave owners - that was reserved for the upper-class, Jews I would assume have a large representation in that.
Cooper Wood
Oh, and don't forget - Democrats were the slave owners.

5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
