FUCK OFF back to Redd*t. The tunnels were built in the 50s due to code requiring bomb shelters in hotels and amusement parks. Old Vegas casinos have them too although now they're used for employee entrances.

I have a relative that works there and got to tour the underground part of Magic Kingdom last time I was there. The reason you don't see people emptying trash cans in the park is because they all chute to the below ground level. Also they have golf carts to move the characters around the park.

I thought we were talking about Disneyland in LA. They do have tunnels despite what other posters are saying. Maybe they're not public info still but a joogle search of 1950s building codes for hotels and large scale attractions in both LA and LV will show the requirement for a subterranean shelter space. IF Disneyland was exempt from that its because they found a loophole in capacity requirement. I used to walk through the tunnels in the lady luck for work every day here in Vegas and learned that's what they were for, ironically it's also where I learned from a 60 year old who worked in the cage that Disneyland had them too when it first opened.

The tunnels aren't underground, they are like the first floor and Disney World is on the second floor.

theyre not in disneyland because it was built like a park, not a casino. cowboys would walk through tomorrowland to get to work in frontierland, that was such an issue of show breaking lore for walt he basically coame up with the tunnel idea for the second location (disney world). EPCOT Center also has a single tunnel but it only runs from the back of universe of energy to the electric umbrella.
