There are forms of mental illness, and there are brain defficiencies/anomalies, but most autism diagnoses are just blanket classification of non-conformist children.
Have you ever questioned why children are excepected to behave in VERY specific ways despite them having young and experimental mindsets, and if they don't, your (((healthcare professional))) starts to get very agitated?

I just spent the last 12 hours watching my friends son do this :
Roll kids toy stroller around a table for 3 hours straight..
after that he stared at square toy half the size of an ice cube ..constantly rolling it between his hands without stopping for 2 hours..
Then he went back to doing laps with the toy stroller for another 2 hours...kid probably walked close to 4 miles last night..hasn't slept or eaten in 24 hours...spent another 4 hours juggling and staring at a wooden block with is hands again..then he had a 2 pacifiers he constantly switched into and out of his mouth every 2 seonds or less...for 3 hours straight...
The entire time he did this he was whinning and crying non stop....
far from normal or non conformist...never seen anything like this with a kid
he does not responf to his name..doesn't acknowledge anyone who walks into a room...wont look you in the eye and ..stopped saying the few words he leanred in the previous few months...

I went to a special needs school myself because I was diagnosed with the berg around 7y/o because of my 'interactions' with other children. I was lucky to be born with some brains, and so the work in school was too easy for me, so as kids do when they get bored, I fucked around, made noise and generally was a little shit.
They medicated me on ritalin for 5 years, which did nothing except keep me (relatively) docile and squashed my appetite.
I saw kids on that school that had FUCK ALL wrong with them, they just wouldn't conform to the norms of school. Some were too smart for the curriculum they were being taught, so they ended up there as a 'special case', some were from violent families or had other home problems, and there were a few genuine cases of batshit crazies. What did they all have in common? They were all diagnosed with at least one form of autism, every single one of them, and 90% of them were medicated (even the ones who were just too smart from mainstream schools).
To wrap-up:
I am not asserting that autism doesn't exist, but rather that it is the go-to answer for children that act in any way that is contrary to the status quo of how children 'should' act, and is used by big company to sell drugs. A good comparison would be doctors telling depression patients they have 'chemical inbalances' and prescribing SSRIs when in fact all they need is to talk to someone who is feeling the same way and get things off their chests. You with me?

after seeing what this kid did last night i did some reasearch on symptoms of autism and he had8 out of 10...then had his mom take the m-chart test and he scored 9 High Risk out of 20..IF the kids just didnt look you in the eye and speak..yeah i get it hes not full blown..if he just focused on one toy for a few hours ..i get it....but what i saw was a whole nother level of mental illness...I meanhes 18 months old and litterally walked in circled around a table for like 4 hours...swtiched from one pacifer to the litterlly every 2 secondst for over an hour and stared at the toy cube ad wooden block for probably 4 hours total while non stop fliping it over in is hands...

I had undiagnosed ADHD when I was a kid (also dyslexic). My ADHD is the interpersonal kind where it's similar to aspergers/autism. I tested with an IQ around 130-140 from a couple therapists. Adderall was incredibly beneficial to me. I don't think a lot of people have it and I was pretty much the only kid in my school out of 900 with it.
I don't perform well in school settings still though, even with Adderall. The ability of hyperfocusing with Adderall and just generally not being an idiot pulls me ahead value wise commercially (I own a software business).
