A. Cohen stating something does not make it fact, especially when he has already made contradictory statements
B. this has literally nothing to do with the stated purpose of the investigation, which was to determine how the Russians influenced the election and what the Trump campaign did in relation to that alleged occurence

5 tax evasion/fraud, 2 bank fraud, one for hiding money overseas.

The other ten are mistrials due to the hung jury. Meaning prosecutors get another crack at them.

He also has a second trial in September for money laundering and failing to report business dealings with a foreign country.

The tax fraud charges are max 5 years each. The bank fraud max 10 years each. The money hiding is max 5. So he could be looking at as much as 50 years. Probably closer to 10-15.

The additional ten charges have a max of about 70 years. The other stuff for his second trial is over 200 years.

Plus millions owed in back taxes and additional penalties of $5-20 million
