The West is failing due to a large amount of "politicians" using every underhanded trick to achieve election to the position they want and will do anything to get elected again, even if the state is harmed and weakened.
The Communists and other Collectivists rely on a truly impossible dream of a future utopia and eventually get taken over by a totalitarian leader which will kill all dissidents without a second thought.
"Communist" Countries rely on Command Economies that have trouble actually fulfilling the needs of the people when improperly taken care of.
