We do and we dont. The far left of our structure is obviously very feminine in its political structure. So it follows that their voters believe in "welfare for everyone.

Luckily we have some pretty determined "nationalists" (under cover as conservative) that are strengthening our immigration policies on annually basis (or more, I've experienced this first hand due to marrying a Canadian).

It is clear that these immigration policies are targeting Muslims - Danish politicians often adjust the welfare allowance in such ways that it only affects "those with more than 4 kids" or "those who have X or Y affiliations". Regardless of who has the seat of power; left or right (but usually a central mix with a small tendency to either way) these laws find their place into our system.

Despite having to endure with these things personally, I fully accept it as a necessity to keep our borders well guarded.

Danes are in general way too complacent in our "perfect society" we dont even remember what war is like. And we certainly don't understand a concept like "religious wars".

Denmark works because they're all white, have a low crime rate, are far less obese than Americans, and have a much smaller population size. Comparing anything to Denmark is fucking stupid.

If our country went full "refugees" welcome we would lose our race identity within 2 or 3 generations.
But that's not happening - like at all.
All of the politicians are too smart. Even the left will mislead their voters but actually have anti-immigration rules.
They will, of course, work to counter some of the harsher immigration law proposals set by the far right (as previously mentioned, I got caught with issues even though my wife is Canadian).
It is well known that the western countries are more inclined to accept immigrants as long as they are not from shitholes and share some cultural similarities. But our laws are super general so non-mudslimes get caught in the system too.

I'll have you know that a few years back our state ran international commercials about our culture, that featured female topless sunbathing and pork in all shapes and forms - obviously primarily to turn away muslims.

On a more recent note we passed a bill that would allow any authority to search refugees for excess valuables and compound them as collateral against processing their asylum.
"You're fleeing from a way, I'm sorry we cant afford it for everyone so we need you all to chip in - that's the way we work around here".
Obviously this was meant to turn away these "financial refugees".
I do agree with the above law - even though it went under a lot of criticism for "robbing poor refugees".

This is necessary because Denmark has been labelled by "financial refugees guides" as the **the place** to enter and receive welfare.

It's our continued interest to turn away refugees still and strengthen our immigration policies.
